Chris Warner: fit and look good once they’re on, not as simple as just sliding them over with the adapter piece included they cannot be slid on. They must be clipped over the top a little bit tricky but once they’re on there, they’re fantastic a little bit difficult to adjust but you do not want them to flop around so I suppose that works.

Pete Gray: These mirrors are fairly easy to install. They let you see behind you. Pretty simple.
Those are the pros, cons are : they are ugly. Like a mud fence ugly. They are hard to adjust, and readjust, and adjust (cause you’re always adjusting them) The mirror is actually pretty small and you don’t gain much of a field of view.
Unless you are towing something really wide, your normal mirrors will do fine. If you are towing something real wide, just spend the extra $$ and buy the actual replacement tow mirrors.
If you want to just have a set of “once in a while” tow mirrors and don’t mind looking ridiculous, these are your jam.

B. Witt: Bought these for my 2007 GMC Sierra Classic. You install them by sliding them on to your factory mirror and then pulling the upper lip of the towing mirror over the top of the factory mirror. This makes for a very tight fit and seems to put a fair amount of stress on the plastic. Also, the adjustment bar that's included with the mirrors (that fits inside to keep them tight) is only covered with a thin layer of felt paper. When I removed the mirrors, I had some marks in the plastic of my factory mirrors. I would not recommend using these on any mirror that's painted or has the chrome cover, as it would most likely scratch very easily. In the owner's manual, it recommends waxing your factory mirrors but this probably won't be enough to protect them.

Using the mirrors, they worked great. The don't vibrate or whistle in the wind. They integrate with with lines of the truck well and look like a factory option. The glass tilts in all directions and once you set it to the angle you want, it stays put. It would be nice to have a convex mirror on the passenger side, however. My truck is an extended cab with a 6.5' foot bed and my travel trailer is 30 feet long and I was able to see...
