Jennifer: I saw one of these years ago when I visited Switzerland and always wanted one. Its easy to use, warms up quickly, cleans easy. I feel safe letting my older kids cook on it. You don't have to use it in the traditional ways either. We've cooked burgers and steak on it :). My only critique would be sometimes its hard to find storage for it as its a larger counter top appliance.

Janis I Bushen: There is nothing not to love about this. I took it to my Grandsons for Thanksgiving weekend. We had such fun cooking at the table. Even my Great Grandbabies were able to use the small trays and spatulas and make a mixture from the assortment of cheese, potatoes, and add ins. We used it again for breakfast. Sausages, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms on top, eggs, pancakes and all manor of foods in the small trays. It was a great hit. It is very easy to clean and stores away in it's own box. I have been using it often to make tacos. Tortilla on one side and filling on the other. Ready in no time, and Voila! Brilliant addition to my kitchen.

spykeninjafire: The grill doesn't heat up very fast, maybe due to the grill plate being elevated. Takes a while to get a good sear on meats. But definitely fun to use during a small get together or family dinner.

Scott LarsonScott Larson: I ordered this after going to a raclette dinner party at a friend's home. Very pleased with the operation and appearance of this unit.
We cut up steak and chicken into bite-size pieces and then bag them up in marinades. Accompanying that, is buttered sourdough bread to melt cheeses onto, mushrooms, onions, and peppers, etc.
Everyone puts what they want on the grill and makes mini-sandwiches with it. The sourdough has been cut and buttered in a size that fits into the side trays. Put some Gouda or Swiss cheese on it and when the cheese is melted put some steak or chicken on and then top it off with the other fixins'. Delicious! While grilling, conversation flows. Everyone willingly gathers around the dinner table to grill, tell stories, and eat...instead of grabbing something and retiring to different corners of the house to eat while playing games on their phones.
Cleanup is SUPER easy - the surface wipes right off. We use the included wood paddles to move things around as they sizzle and also have bamboo skewers on the table to assist in that as well.
