kenton dixon: Bought this to carry to E-bikes behind SUV to bike trails. It also doubles for extra storage carry, cooler rack for bbq's etc. The folding feature is excellent to stow away when not in use.

Nozama: Curt gets it right. Simple design, simple (but tedious) assembly, great lightweight, and plenty strong to hold all your stuff. I prefer the low perimeter railing over other carriers so that my gear doesn't have to necessarily fit inside the footprint exactly. As with any of these carriers, I highly recommend the CURT Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin. I've used it for years and it works fantastic. It locks it in and doesn't allow the tray to move around. Well worth it over the provided bolt. Use double stick tape to keep the receiving nut plate in place inside the square stock during installation. Flatten out the little tab if needed. Remove after use. The only thing I don't about a lot of trays like this is the number and placement of the tie down holes along the railing. Easy fix though. A drill. I use rope ratchets as tie downs. They're a little tedious but tighten down great and are very versatile compared to bungy webbing, which I find worthless.

Derek MDerek M: Bought a hitch for the Honda element and this will attach to the back.
It arrived well packaged and secure. Nothing was missing and no damage. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Might help to have an extra hand as it may be heavy for some and kinda awkward. I had all the tools except for I had to borrow an adjustable wrench for the large bolt on the neck. It was bigger than anything I had on hand.
I knocked it down one star for sturdiness because one of the spot welds that holds down the grated floor broke loose while I was moving it. Should be fine as long as the others hold. Powder coating seems pretty durable and overall its a strong and well designed product.
And for anyone just buying a hitch and accessories, you will need a hitch pin/lock to secure the connection. I didn't know that I would need this and had to make a separate order after. Other than that, Im happy!

GMC: Je l'utilise pour faire monter mes chiens a l'arriere et pour les sac de terre, gravel, etc ... pour eviter de salir l'interieur de la voiture.
facile a monter avec les instructions, solide et tres facile a manipuler pour installer sur le hitch.
