Super easy to use, keeps coffee hot for hours and just what we needed. Hubby wakes up at 5 and when I get up at 8 its still hot! I can pour another cup at 2pm and its still hot! LOVE it. Haven't had any issues...except if you feel it right to the 12 cup line, it will overflow, I would say its more like an 11 cup maker, but its still amazing! Small issue! Would totally buy again.

Kristjan Snidal: Over all this is a pretty basic coffee maker and I liked the last Cuisinart I had so I kinda wanted to stay with the brand, My wife finds it attractive on the counter, personally I am more interested in the coffee. Filling is a bit of a pain, life goes on. The filter can be a bit awkward until you get used to it having to be fully open before you remove the used filter and grounds, overall, pretty good coffee maker. what else can I say.

Tim S:
I bought this Coffeemaker a few months ago after years of using drip machines with the glass carafe and heating element. At one time there was a device available to put on the heating pad to protect the coffee from becoming burned. Full Circle was the name and it was wonderful, but sadly it failed to become popular because it tended to stick to the bottom of the carafe when it was lifted to pour. We used it until it literally fell to pieces, and when the coffeemaker died we had the Cuisinart ready to take its place.
The Cuisinart is easy to use and it keeps the coffee warm for hours in the thermal carafe, even longer if you fill it with hot water to warm it up before brewing. Yesterday we were slower than normal drinking our coffee, but my last cup was still very warm four hours after it had been brewed.
The screw top of the carafe which is designed to allow the coffee to enter the carafe as well as allowing one to pour coffee from the carafe is a marvel. You have to be a bit careful screwing it on to make sure it's threaded properly, but a bit of practice makes that fairly easy. After the coffee is brewed it's best to immediately remove the cone of grounds...

Lisa O.: This is our third coffee maker of this style, they seem to last about 3-ish years and then the electronic part just stops working. We make a lot of coffee though, and we like the machine so keep buying it again and again. It is by far my favourite coffee maker of all time. The carafe is a big 12 cup size (I'd say more like 12 mugs!) The ball system in the lid allows the coffee to stay hot for hours and hours, and the machine looks great. They are becoming harder to find, and more expensive for the ones that are out there, so I'm not sure if they are discontinued or what.

This coffee maker makes me so happy, I can't even. It has performed perfectly since I bought it.
So how do I love thee, coffee maker? I don't even know where to start.
It's quick. It takes 11 minutes to brew a full pot. I love that it beeps when it's done, instead of making me decipher its little finishing-up sounds. I guess it wouldn't compare to a Keurig-type device in terms of brew time, but I have no interest in those so cannot speak to that. For a drip brewer, it's quick.
It's programmable. Who wouldn't love that. Reliable and intuitive to program. Do note that when you program it, it is going to start when you tell it to, not finish when you tell it to. So keep in mind that 11 minutes. I get up at 4 o'clock in the morning and I have it set to 3:45 so the coffee is ready when I am. I like the little clock. My only complaint about the programmable feature is why did the buttons have to be all, well, button-y? They stick out and it makes wiping down the front a little tricky. Make 'em flat next time, Cuisinart.
The carafe is the jam. It keeps coffee hot for many many hours. A couple of times I've forgotten it and...

Nelson Malavenda:
This is the first time I have bought a coffee maker for over $40. I read reviews on a number of models, especially the criticisms. We have used this Cuisinart machine for a few days. Wow!! Don't worry about the lid; it works as smooth as butter. Yes, it really is true about the carafe keeping coffee hot for hours. Most of all we have had to reduce the amount of coffee measured per pot because this machine is so much more effective at drawing out the natural flavors. You need a lot less coffee, and what you do get absolutely is absolutely bright in taste. Fantastic!! Oh yes, the lid "rattles", and I thought maybe I will have to return it. Nope! That's just part of the patented process that seals in the coffee, keeps it hot, because you don't press anything to open it and pour coffee. Just tilt the pot at an extra sharp angle, and out comes steaming, yes steaming, hot coffee - an hour after you've brewed it.
One note of caution. This pot is a full 17" tall, so be sure you plan space for it. Our old machines easily fit under the cabinets on top of the counter. But, no problem, I found an inconspicuous place for it on top of the counter. Until...

Doug Lake: This is simply the best coffee maker ever, the craft keeps the coffee warm for along period of time. Large opening for water makes it easy to fill and coffee tastes great. The small display is a little set back but easy to over come.
