IndigoJane: If you hate noise, this is the grinder for you, because it’s really quiet and smooth. Nothing to rattle the nerves here. It does a good job of grinding and has been reliable. All is good with this little machine. An easy keeper!

Mark Babbitt Jr.: Easy to clean and grinds the heck out of some beans. It is loud for its size but that is to be expected since it spins at a crazy fast rpm. The sound in my opinion isn't an issue, it's not loud enough to cause hearing damage and one probably shouldn't be using it at 3am anyway. It's easy to use, just put the lid on correctly and depress the button.

Mike B.Mike B.: This is a good basic coffee grinder. I'm a coffee fanatic, so I grind my own beans just before brewing a pot or cup of coffee. I just used up my utility grinder, so I replaced it with this one. It works well in general, but I have two minor complaints about it. The configuration is such that when you use it, grounds stick to the lid with an electrostatic charge. This makes it a little bit difficult to clean them out of the lid. With my old grinder I could just sweep them into the filter with a brush. The capacity is also just a little bit small. I normally use 35 grams of beans for a pot of coffee, and that pretty much maxes out this grinder.

All that said, it's a good, inexpensive, quiet grinder that does the job and should last a while.

isabelle pilon: Terrible product. As others have said, the lid and, the pushbutton to start the grinding are very flimsy ( to say the least). In our case the unit died after than two weeks of use. ( unrelated to lid)

I cant in good conscience give aything but the lowest rating.
