Was looking for a new food processor to replace my decades-old Kitchenaid (KA) 9-cup, a powerful and quiet unit which I loved. The KA motor base was still fine, but the plastic bowl and top had cracked and replacement parts were no longer available. I use my food processor several times a week to make hummus, date and nut-based "truffles", chop or shred veggies, and so forth.
This new food processor is easier to clean than the old KA, particularly the lid. The knife is very sharp, and the shredding disk is sharp and works very well (I have not tried the slicing blade, but expect it will also be sharp). The feed shoot is large and easy to load potatoes into without cutting up. The unit is fairly quiet to run. However, it is not as strong as my old KA, nor does it perform quite as efficiently. It takes longer to make smooth hummus, although it does make a nice smooth hummus. I think it performs decently for the price and size, but if you are looking for a powerful unit, you should pay more and get a bigger one.

Once a week I make hummus. This does the job easily and quickly.
In the photo attached, I was making harissa. It uses 17 dried chiles that have been rehydrated and a list of other ingredients. It was easy to make with the food processor.
It's a tool that my wife and I use frequently. Next to my Kitchenaid 600 series stand mixer, this is used the 2nd most often.
