Other than the packaging, it is hard to believe this product is refurbished. The packaging also very commercial. All accessories are brand new, no sign of use. Only problem is the "Voltage". As per product spec it says "220 Volt" and "950 Watt" but actually it is 120 volt 550 watt which is perfect for Canada.

It is versatile and not huge so I can keep it over the counter, but big enough to prepare stuff without worrying about capacity...strong to operate smoothly...my only complaint is the if you need to feed flour then the feeder neck is a bit narrow. I love than do banana bread all there: I smart smashing the bananas, add the eggs, sugar etc and for the flour i make a paper cone since the feeder is narrow and you make a mess otherwise. Happy with this purchase: price was reasonable, performs well and looks nice on my counter. Got it a couple of months ago, hope it will last

My husband was skeptical about purchasing a refurbished product, but I had faith. I'm glad I purchased this food processor! It is very powerful and slices whole potatoes due to the wide chute. It shredds with ease and clean up is a breeze! I just wish I had retired my old processor sooner. Great processor, excellent price, you can't go wrong. Cuisinart is the way to go!

OK, I am now officially, definitely sold on Amazon's refurbished items. Definitely. First I tried a refurbished Samsung tablet computer; now this terrific refurbished Cuisinart. I'm sold because what comes to the front door is utterly identical to a new item. Perfectly boxed, original packaging, everything properly braced with cardboard and foam, all the plastic parts in their own clear wrapping with lots of dire safety warnings in French, the full new-item unboxing experience. And the food processor inside is perfect. Absolutely new-looking and running. Not a mark or a nick. Wonderful. This 8-cup Cuisinart is the perfect size for any normal daily use, and seems powerful enough to make dip out of anything this side of a Harley. Feels solid — hefty but not too ponderous in weight. Excellent value.
