Joe Robyak: I am unhappy with this carafe. There is spillage when pouring water/coffee. The lip is not sufficiently wide
enough. The pouring lip has to be modified to accommodate the process. Other than this flaw I have no
complaint with the product.

The pot seemed slightly smaller than the original even though it was a 12 cup like the previous pot, but worked perfectly.

Ben P.Ben P.: I accidentally cracked my original carafe on the granite counter top so I shopped for another. I decided to spend the higher $35 for an OEM, original Cuisineart carafe , figuring no sense in taking a risk on lesser quality. To my surprise the quality was not as good as the original, and it did not have the nice stainless-steel finish on the handle. Maybe I should've taken a closer look at the listing, most of the photos 'avoid' showing you this side of the handle, probably for this reason. I probably should've saved my money for the "same" thing in the other listings. OEM usually make me happy, this one didn't. For now, it'll suffice to hold some coffee.
