Learn how to use crowdfunding to your advantage and make your dreams a reality!kunal dubey: This is one book that sure deserves to be on everyone's reading list for 2021. My sole advice to the authors is to update it every few years, so it doesn't become irrelevant over time. This book should be taught in liberal arts schools and in MBA programs. How often does a book qualify for both?

srini_nw: If you survive the introduction, this book is a savory treat. It's not every day that you will come across a book that explains concepts in a nuanced way. Crowdfunding: The Story of People is one book which will show you how the crowd can create revolutions and overcome systematic prejudices. There is more. The book will teach you how to become a conscious contributor, preventing you from basing your decisions on mere emotion (read chapter 11 and you will know).
Overall, an illuminating read that is very relevant in this age and time.

Asif Iqbal: The amount of hard work that has been done in writing this book is insane. It's filled with concrete data figures and lots of lovely examples. The chapter wise breakup is very well though of. Content is gripping and interesting and doesn't let you get distracted. A very good book indeed.

Rajdeep Jain: Even though each chapter can be read seperately, the book lays down concepts and builds upon them. For example in chapter one, inequality is the central theme, but it is further explored in other chapters in tandem with crowdfunding. Another example is chapter 6 where some concepts are introduced and then later explored in other chapters.
A nicely woven narrative!

This is a very relevant book in all societies, as it illustrates both, the challenges and advantages or crowdfunding, globally.

Grroms: This book provides detail and important context to crowdfunding, especially to those who are intending to apply its techniques to their business or personal projects. It does a great job of scanning the environment, and supplies both depth and breadth to the subject matter. Since there is very scant literature about crowdfunding from an Indian perspective, the book's contribution is significant.
