matt: First, I trashed the nylon belt it came with, and threaded a leather belt through it. The extra padding is very comfortable and not bulky. Belt doesn't kink around the suspender holders, but have had the suspender holder rip out.
Great purchase for the price. Does not work with 3" belt.

thefatherofzen: This is a nice padded tool belt. I am using it in conjunction with ToughBuilt detachable/removeable tool pouches. And so far I am fairly pleased with it - I have even been asked about it while on a jobsite. I may have to use suspenders with it, but that is only because of my body type - I have no hips to help hold this belt up!!! But that is not a fault of the belt, just wanted other potential purchasers to be aware of this, if they too have no hips!

Eric: The padded belt is nice, but everything that attaches to it feels flimsy and unreliable. People ask me how my Carhartt build your own legacy set up us and I tell them the truth ......at best it's cute, but not tough. I don't use it as much only to do light finish work but full on construction I do not recommend go with a heavy duty set up not this one.
