Apple ScruffApple Scruff: I was so disappointed when I was finally done with these. This is supposedly a good friend. I was so disappointed when I was finally done with these. This is supposedly a good brand. I pre-washed my cotton fabric, soaked it in the soda, ash solution, and let it sit in plastic bags for 24 hours. The black turned to grey in, and I believe it must’ve been the medium blue that washed out completely. The colors that did stick to the shirts are just kind of dull looking. I did notice that some of the bottles had a protective seal on them when I open them and some of them didn’t. I don’t recall which ones did or not but the consistency was a little concerning.

AlexisAlexis: I got these to replace a cheap craft store tie dye kit and the amount and quality of this dye isn't even comparable. You can mix these to be as pastel or vibrant as you want, and they stay in the fabric really well. I soak my pieces in washing soda first, and give them 24 hours to cure. Also, you can store these in the fridge for several weeks after mixing since there's no soda ash/washing soda in the dye powder.
In the last photo with the hats, the one on the bottom was done with cheap dye and the top ones were this higher quality dye. The kit didn't come with purple dye, but you can mix the fuchsia and turquoise into purple.

Gemma Burke: heard this is a good quality product for dying fabric. it looks expensive but when comparing the best quality and less expensive. this is the less expensive fabric dye and probably like a second but close 1 best quality fabric dye. i also have fabric paint of this brand and it works really well.
