Mark: The projector works well and I think it will last a long time. The only gripe I have is that the remote doesnt seem to work very well. When pushing the power button to switch it off, if goes off for a second, then comes back on. I try hold the power button for a few seconds, and takes me about the 5th try for it to work and turn off completely.
The timer setting seems useful, if you can get it to work. I dont seem to see any feedback to know if its saved the setting, so you dont know if it will switch off after the prescribed hours. I got it to work for a few nights, but now the timer isnt working. Its not a major issue, the projector just stays on permanently.
Changing picture functions doesnt seem to work too well with the remote. Eventually it works by repeatedly pressing the applicable button, but I think the remote needs some development work.

Greg B.: This unit has a strong, brilliant array of different effects that will impress you. You can stop dead, slow down or speed up the effects as well... It's different modes consist of Night Sky, Christmas & Halloween, so it's great for all of those. And this unit can easily project on ANYTHING from150 ft away ( if you're concerned about it's "throw" distance ) ... I shined this unit on my neighbor's Italian Cypress trees which completely, tightly borders my property and WOW, what a light show it put on. Unbelievable ‼️
I'm still checking out the distance capabilities of the REMOTE and It worked great from 100 ft away...

Clement Lo: I have bought a few the last few years... This one although is expansive; it is however lot brighter then those $60 one. The projector itself is 2X bigger then those cheap one. I have no complaint with this purchase.

Derwin S.: This is my second laser holiday light. This one is higher quality than my previous purchase. It operates well in rain. The remote control works from inside the house. Selecting exactly what you want from the laser is a bit complex. You'll need to play around to get familiar with the settings. The green and blue laser seem to be more abundant than the red laser. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

BarkfireBarkfire: When I received this unit it would not turn on, that is one of the most frustrating things when you buy something and are excited to try it out. But I don't give up easily, I got out my electrical meter and did some testing. The power was good coming out of the transformer, it was good at the other end of the cord that plugs into the laser unit, so I checked the two prongs in the laser unit connector and it looked like one was too far over to the side so I bent it back where it looked centered and tried it again. It came right on and worked!!! So if you have trouble check those little prongs and if they look off set bend them over slightly and it may fix your problem.

Christopher: It is worth noting I own quite a few different lasers. The big downside of this one is that it doesn't remember settings when using the timer function. I initially assumed I had a defective unit and returned for another one only for the same thing to happen. When using a timer the laser will resume action using the default settings: all colors on, star pattern cycling. For some reason it remembers the "speed" setting but that is all.

What that means is you have to manually adjust it every day. For me personally this is a deal breaker despite how excellent everything else is about it.

Here is the general run down
1) This is extremely bright, one unit can easily cover 50' of your house or more; it is bright enough that you can pair it with an LED flood accent without washing out and making the laser difficult to see
2) The brightness and patterns are not uniform, they are brightest in the middle however this is not significant enough to detract from the effect
3) The patterns cycle based on your selection, star patterns (which also includes the "typical firefly" pattern), Christmas, and Halloween.
4) You can lock to a single pattern of your choice within...
