Allie: Was a little skeptical at the quality of the kit given the price but I was very wrong! This kit is so easy to use and the colors are so vibrant and fun! The colors come as powder in bottles and after adding water to them, they are ready to use. Easy to clean up after and they last for many projects! Great alternative to mixing your own chemicals for tie dying!

Amy E HansonAmy E Hanson: My daughter and her friend had a great time making shirts! I loved that the only thing we needed to make shirts was the shirts themselves (which we snagged on amazon) and water! The packet came with runnerbands and gloves.
I only did the minimum time before rinsing and washing so they did fade a tiny bit but still look great as you can see in the photos!
We got the Unicorn color pack.

AnnaBeth: The 3 colors we used were vivid, not sure if the pinks will be much different from each other, hard to tell when dry in the bottle. I was disappointed with the quality of the bottle and cap ~ even though I screwed it on as tight as I possibly could, when we shook it it leaked and ruined the T-shirt my little pal was wearing. It took a very long time to rinse the color out ~ I gave up and put it in the wash. Hope it doesn't ruin anything else later.

janetjanet: This doesn't really work on all polyester blends.
The blue shirt picture: one on the left (lighter) is a polyester (94 polyester 6 spandex) blend and it went through the dye process twice. The one on the right (darker) is 100% cotton and was dyed once. (We had a lot of bleeding colors because the polyester shirts I did, did not absorb the dye.
Purple shirts: Left purple (believe it or not) I did the ombre method with a paintbrush and the black dye basically completely came out. Right sucked in all of the dye the shirt on the left dropped and made a nice purple. Left shirt was white and is 96 polyester and 4 spandex. Right shirt is 35 rayon 60 polyester and 5 spandex.
Lularoe maroon shirt: This material was 60 modal and 40 polyester. I used the green, black, and navy dyes and it all looks like one color.

Gin GGin G: Tulip is the best brand for tie dye kits and I’ve always had great success with them. This time I wanted to make a space/ombré style hoodie and this kit was perfect for it! Tulip tie dye kits are always so easy to follow, even a beginner would have such an easy time with this one since the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I used this lovely combination on a set of massage sheets I was trying to dye, the material I used however was 100% polyester and I was not aware that could not be dyed without a specific dye and boiling water. This picture is just before I rinsed the dye out.

Cheyenne: I bought this to make shirts with my daycare kids for Father’s Day presents. We had more than enough dye for 8 shirts, probably could’ve made 12-14 shirts depending on size (we used mostly size medium). Great deal for what you get.
