CMCan: I loved having betta fish but I realized that the whole set up is hard to clean and takes a while. After more research I realized the bettas need more space than these little tanks to live a healthier, happier life.

Paulina BejeroPaulina Bejero: El producto y diseño son excelentes y muy hermosos para decoración. Para un buen cuidado de peces betta el espacio es reducido. Si realmente quieres una buena vida para el pez recuerda comprar el calentador automático (regular temperaturade agua de 25 a 30°, plantas vivas y sustrato o grava naturales (sin colorantes).
En general me encantó, sería conveniente que hicieran productos más grandes que ayuden a darle más espacio a los peces y alargar su vida.

Roberto Correa: Lo que ves es lo que te llevas. No le he encontrado sorpresas desagradables. Al contrario, el acrílico, en mi opinión, se mantiene limpio más tiempo que el vidrio. Tiene un espacio en el filtro excelente para guardar tu material filtrante. Si eres como yo, y no te gusta estar comprando cartuchos de filtración, cabe más piedra o bio esferas de las que puede requerir el acuario para una filtración biológica óptima. No obstante, esto se contrarresta un poco porque las estancias de los peces no cuentan con ninguna manera de deshacerte de las heces y el alimento que no comen los peces. Yo pensaba que tendrían algún orificio o manera de filtrar en la parte de abajo, pero no. Las heces y la comida se acumulan, por lo que, a menos que les pongas algún sustrato (no vidrios o piedras "preciosas" como muestran en el video, porque esto no servirá de nada) para combatir los nitratos, en la cámaras puede haber una fuente constante de nuevos nitratos que no pasarán por el filtro biológico con la velocidad que tendrías en otros tipos de acuario. S. Shaw: Love the look of this unit for multiple fish and the tinkling water sound from the overflows. The pump waste heat keeps the water at just about 72F in standard room conditions, which is good for bettas, so no heater required and evaporation loss is relatively low with the cell lids on. BUT, it could benefit from a light, and the compartments are a little small. Flow is also a little high for heavy finned fish, even when turned all the way down, so best to put a plakat, female or other short finned fish in the container closest to the filter overflow to prevent fin damage. Seeded bio-balls from an established aquarium are a good idea for addition to the "sump" area to collect particulates and maintain the nitrogen cycle. Alternatively, just shut down the unit, remove the three fish cells with the fish in them, and dump the sump water left in the unit once a week for a 50% water change. Very intuitive setup and maintenance for an experienced fish keeper, and pretty easy for a novice, as its essentially the same as a drilled tank with a sump. Mary: I received as a gift, read the reviews to figure out the plus and minuses of the tank. It took me a month or so to actually set up but I really like the tank. Some of the negatives are correct and some are not. The positives is it does really display nicely. I have a beta in each section and they are doing well. The negative is it is more high maintenance than a normal tank. Not so much due to it's size but rather it loses water through evaporation rather quickly since it is not a closed system. For the filter to run correctly, it really needs to be at the max level and I have to fill it about every 2 days. The other negative is it is only good for beta fish and a crab or something (another review says) which is true due to it's size. Now some of the misconceptions that other reviews mentioned or maybe the design has been modified since their reviews, the fish WILL not get swept into the next section, there are grates built into the lids to stop that so if properly installed, they will not. I did have the bottom section fish go into the bottom twice but that was because the lid was not installed correctly. The power of the filter is not that bad if set low and I find the fish...

SpaShadow: I didn't get this tank for any fish so don't worry, I got it for my Marimo moss balls, it's a great tank for that. Though I wish that the pump was actually stronger and the filter was a bit better. The current is not strong enough to filter out all of the dusk or plant matter that Marimo's shed. Once I either find a stronger pump or filter it would probably fix these minor problems.

LanceLance: I’m going to make this a super real review for anyone like myself who reads these and then has HUGE doubts about this product. I will also update this in about a month. Here is the truth about this item so far....
The design is beautiful, and I highly recommend the lighting for the bottom to illuminate the tank, really adds to it. Putting this together really wasn’t hard. Each tank section comes with lid be sure each one is the correct lid for their tank. I posted pics because people talked about their Bettas getting into one of the other containers(I’m confused by this since each lid has a grate type of fence that would keep this from happening. Maybe the design has been changed it’s been on the market for over 5yrs I’m thinking it’s the logical reason. I decided to wait on adding the 3rd Betta and left the middle open for now just in case.
