Jason: I bought the five gallon tank and I'm happy with my purchase so far. It's quite and looks good. Has some flimsy plastic parts and I had to take the front intake on the impeller housing off for more water flow. Why it gets 4 outta 5 stars for me.

MossMoss: If you plan on housing betta this is a solid tank, and if you have the money I would 10000000% recommend modifying the tank a little by gutting it if you’re looking for the portrait look with more functionality.
Realistically, the back of the tank with the built-in filter takes up a lot of horizontal swimming space which realistically makes the tank maybe more like a little less than 4 gallons.
Take a razor to the back silicone and take off the cover for the filter then just buy a sponge filter, air pump and tube or an over the back tank filter. There’s a very nice lady with betta fish on tiktok who has a tutorial, just look up “Marineland Portrait Tank”
I bought mine second hand so it had a few issues such as not coming with an impeller for a water pump and a broken cover for the back of the tank but that was okay with me due to it being replaceable.
If you don’t plan on changing anything, but if you ever need to replace the water pump because I saw some people complaining about that, lookup things like ‘Water Pump 50 gph’ and make sure to keep your elbows from the previous water pump! It’s what i searched and i bought for the missing one and it works...

nahidanahida: This looks cool. Easy assembly, great quality for price point. The lid is kinda just a topper though and knocked wrong, would fall into the tank. I likely would’ve returned it for that reason if I didn’t need a replacement quickly. Also, think the blue light bothers my two regular fish. They won’t eat if it’s on, oddly. Maybe just need to settle in. Time will tell.

Only disappointing thing is that the filter pump does not work at all, and the filter lid cover came super bent. Going through the process of getting replacement parts & will update on how easy that process was once I receive the items!
Besides the couple hiccups, this tank is worth tbe price. So beautiful & my beta is in love!

KaylaKayla: I got the 20 gallon glow fish tank set up. It’s a decent fish tank no leaks or defects. The water filter is a tetra whisper 20 and it runs nice and quiet. The suction line for the filter only goes about halfway down the tank so it needs an extra piece so that it reaches further down. It came with two sets of lights, a little set of blue lights or “Glow fish” lights and some white lights. The little water heater seems to work well holding the water temperature at 78° with an indoor temperature of 70. It is non-adjustable. It came with some glow fish fake plants which I would rate a soft 2 out of 10 for appeal. I mean they just look terribly fake LOL and what did I expect I guess. I bought a few real plants to go in there with I’ll probably take out the fake plants here soon. I bought the black gravel with pink green orange acrylic pebbles in there and the black gravel is super messy and hard to wash, just a heads up. Be super careful mounting the hood to the aquarium. The lid for the Fishtank is rather flimsy and if you put too much force on it it will break. A few things to mention as far as this being a starter kit for first time aquarium owners. Christa Pare: The media could not be loaded.  I read every review on every fish tank, between one and 10 gallons, on Amazon before deciding on this 3 gallon glo tank. I’ll start with the negative, as it’s a small issue, before going on to tell you what I like about the tank. The filter size that was advertised in the specs On Amazon was different than what came with my kit. When I ordered the tank I also ordered extra filters and they are not the correct size. So I’m out a few dollars

Now for the positives...where do I start? From taking it out of the box to completely setting it up took me only 20 minutes. All you have to do is follow the instructions and you should be fine setting up your tank even if you are a first timer. This tank is acrylic, not glass. However, it seems sturdy enough and there was not a scratch on the plastic when I received it. I highly recommend purchasing some glo beads, glo pebbles and glo decorations because the blue LED lights really pop in the glo tank. The bubblier is really pretty but scared my fish at first. But they are used to it now. I also bought a small heater that does not come with the kit. I ran the tank for a week with conditioner...

just me: This is a wonderful little tank. we decided that we wanted to get a few fish, so we looked into options for a place for them to live. The first idea was a cute little led colored bubbler tank, but they topped out at three gallons, and we wanted the fish to have a bit of room. The normal everyday 10gal tank was out of the question, because we live in a small apartment and barely have room to move around as it is. After a bit of research into tanks we decided to go with this one as it has the nice led lighting, room for a small fish to move around, comes with a filter system, and wasn't really heavy. The only place we have to keep a tank in on top of a folding wire dog kennel that our cute little dog lives in, to much weight and we would not only be out a fish tank, but be shopping for a new kennel.

A tank of this size means you have to be careful of which fish you choose to live inside it. Anything that grows to a large size is out of the question, the rule I found out is 1 inch of fish per gallon of water. That means if you get fish an inch long you can put five in this tank without overloading it. If you wish to have more fish, you should get a larger tank. So this limited...
