Mrs Karen E RattrayMrs Karen E Rattray: Not properly engineered to break in the right place. Often the wedges break before the clips. The clips break only on one side or not in the right place. Had to cut most of the clips. Once I realised I tried weakening them by bending or nicking them with a knife before fitting and this lead to very random results.

Joshua Levy: In the past I have used the levtec system which is very similar this did the job pretty much the same thing and was a very comparable system at a fraction of the price, the Lev Tec system is $180 for a total of 200 wedges and 600 clips the pliers set spacers that protect the tile from the wedges and a very nice sturdy durable toolbox as a carrying case, this kit included 100 wedges 200 clips and then separately I ordered an additional 200 clips and 100 wedges and the pliers from the same manufacturer all together I paid $53

eric: I have ordered these before and they worked like they should have. This new batch made my job way harder than it needed to be. The tabs did not break off as they should have and I had to dig and cut at them to get them out of the grout lines and some tiles had to be replaced from being chipped while digging the tabs out. I lost a couple days on the job just from doing that.. Quality control must have been hung over that day when making this batch. I still had and box and I tossed it out. I can't be losing time on my jobsites due to poor quality made clips. They were good in the beginning and Hopefully they get back on it and make things right.

These things are fantastic. Easy to use. I know they're for large format tile, but I used them on these 3x12 tiles because the wall is just absolutely a mess. These things did a fantastic job leveling things out. It's a little tight on 3x12, but I found a method and now I'm going strong.

I didn't use the included wrench - just my hands and a small rubber mallet in some areas. They knock down easily - just make sure when you're putting them up you clear away the mastec before inserting them. I watched a lot of YouTube before I used these to get an idea of how they'd work.

MarkMark: Thes work pretty darn good. The tile definately level. I bought the cheap tool which pretty much takes the guess work out of how much tapping to do and pretty much eliminated the breaking of the spacer. (A complaint from someone about these spacers.)

Only 4 stars because (as someone pointed out about a similar product) you have to be very wary about the gap as u tighten the wedge. The tile definately has a tendancy to separate. A quick wiggle with pressure back to the spacer closes the gap, but you definately have to be aware of it none the less.

Now, that said... i just ordered my 2nd bucket. Imo the end result is definately worth a little mindful attention to spacing.

4 stars because they work great. Not 5 because they arent perfect. But theyre a great tool to use. Buy them. Theyre worthwhile.
