COSORI Electric Gooseneck Kettle with 0.8L Capacity, 5 Variable Presets & Pour Over Coffee Functionality

Brenda G.: After using this kettle for 2 years, I tried the more attractive Fellow equivalent. The pots are the same capacity, weight, and speed to boil. The Fellow nicer looking and minimal, but the Cosori is functionally better in every way. Most importantly, it pours faster, so you hold the pot up in the air for less time. The controls are better, the audible signal is quiet, the auto shut-off is obvious, and the pot has a quality feel. My only criticism is that I don't need the brand so prominent on the product. I know it's Cosori, and maybe 5-6 other people will ever be in my kitchen, so it's an unnecessary place to advertise.

Rose Red: We love this kettle. Not too loud, quickly heats water, pitcher comes off the base, and we can customize the temp so we never have a bad cup. I waited years to buy it and regret not buying it sooner. So stylish and all stainless inside! Yay! Only downside is that sticker on the lid! Boo! Anyway, I hope it lasts a long time. This kettle has brought me joy.

Ferniez: I purchased this kettle to heat water for both tea and coffee. It has the advantage that it has clearly marked buttons that, when pressed heat the water perfectly for the type of tea or coffee you want to brew. It also has a button to select continual heating, staying on for refilling your cup with hot water. The kettle is nicely styled and looks attractive on the kitchen counter. It heats water quickly and pours easily with nary a spill. The only thing I cannot speak to is durability, as I have only used it for a few weeks. But thus far, I am very pleased with its performance and recommend this product to those seeking a more refined tea and coffee brewing experience.

PJ M: I struggled to buy this. I mean, do I need more stuff? I had pots. I was boiling water for my pour overs. Sometimes it would splash out on the stove. I insanely wanted it to be the right temperature, so I'd measure it. Controlling flow wasn't that easy. But I could do it and more stuff is destroying the planet, or so they say, but even if it isn't, do I really want more stuff?

Now it's all easy. Except the cleaning, but it's just water, so how often will it be needed? The opening is a little tight for my hand.

But the water pours out perfectly. It feels sturdy. I press a button and it's the perfect 205 degrees. Holds the temperature while I pour over. It goes slow and exactly where I want.

First world problems solved.

Lorenzo Ramos: We use the black tea setting all the time and it brings water to a boil very quickly. I'm not sure about accuracy of temperature but it's definitely hot!

The matted black and overall design makes it look super fancy, and it pours liquid very smoothly.

My only gripe: it may be difficult for some to remove the cover. It sits in fairly tightly for good reason however, you'll need to be very careful not to burn yourself if you're looking to boil more water immediately after using it as the cover gets very hot.

VicenteVicente: The media could not be loaded.  As a long-time coffee enthusiast, I decided to take my home-brewing game to a new level a couple of months ago. The three cornerstones of quality home-brewing are:

1) a good grinder,
2) a precise scale, preferably one with a built-in timer, and
3) an efficient and reliable device to heat water.

Our focus here is on the third element. After six weeks of rigorous daily use, brewing 2-3 cups of coffee each day, my electric coffee kettle has been performing pretty dang well.

I felt compelled to write this review after reading some concerns about temperature accuracy. Naturally, I decided to put my kettle to the test. Using a high-end meat thermometer (which need to be accurate as people rely on them to prevent foodborne illnesses) I tested the temperature distribution of 500mL of water, freshly beeped from the kettle. This volume reflects my typical usage: I brew somewhere between one to two cups at a time, using 50mL to pre-rinse the filter and the rest for brewing.

The results were impressive. The thermometer registered 204.3F at the top of the water and 205.2F at the bottom, indicating less than half a percent...
