Antonia: I purchased two of these as well as others from FORSPARK. I assumed these would have that extra stretch adjustable cable that you can put around the whole air conditioner once you've adjusted the side ties. Nope. That is why I gave this cover 4 stars. You really need that extra cable to put around the entire body of the A/C/ to really ensure the thing stays on.

Amazon Customer: These covers are a necessity in winter months. They do a great job of sealing off drafty through-the-wall AC units, which can leak freezing air in your home. The drawstring design of this AC cover is vastly superior to others I have used. It makes it much easier to install, and then creates a better seal to keep out cold windy drafts. The other designs rely on just elastic edging, and those do not sufficiently seal on their own, and necessitate using weather sealing tape to perform well.
