Petem: got to say.. i was not expecting much from this little vac. like every product , you have the people that have had problems and others that praise the product.. so i gave this a 50/50 chance of working. im here to say.. it works great. no, it does not have the power of an upright vacuum, id never expect it to, but i use this to pick up lint from the floor , stairs and random dust and dirt.. and it does a fantastic job. if you are looking for something like shop vac suction to clean your car.. this aint it. but it will work in your car for dust with the brush attachment. battery life seems to be good, with my random use, its lasted over a month.

R Sparrow Hicks: Have Already lost the charger cord...I would suggest that it be yellow or red so folks can SEE it better because it is not very wide. Just a thought...

Nurseypatricia: I’ve had this nearly a week and love it. It’s small, lightweight, easy to use, easy to empty and clean and best of all has great suction. I mainly use it for cleaning up small areas after cooking and baking in kitchen but also good for just picking up fluff and crumbs from living room carpet when a full vacuum isn’t neccessary. Great for hoovering up dead insects on window sills and dust that gathers in grooves of sliding wardrobe doors and skirting. Some have said that the dust cup isn’t big enough but I think it’s plenty big for what you would use it for. The light on it is really a great addition for dark corners too. For the price it’s an excellent buy and you’re also given an extra two years guarantee if you register. A couple of extra attachments and spare filter are included along with a wee brush for cleaning the filter to keep the suction at optimum level. Would definitely recommend.

S. Babbidge: I bought thus cordless vac for our campervan as the old one had died. I researched a few and followed the good reviews for the VL189, knowing that if it was pants, returns via Amazon are straight forward. I've given it one good test so far and its been brilliant - much better than the one we had before. If the battery lasts and recharge time continues to be optimum, I'll remain a very happy customer!

Great customer support and service! My charger broke soon after purchase and after contacting VacLife customer support - which was helpful and no fuss - a replacement was sent. The communication didn’t stop there though. I was contacted again just to make sure the replacement charger works and the VacLife support team left me a very happy customer.

perfecthost: I have bought a few of this type of item over the years, mainly for the stairs and for the carpet area by skirting boards. I have only had this for a few weeks but am impressed so far. The item has very good suction and the main benefit is how light this is, markedly so, compared to the last couple I have had. I don’t think anyone can comment on the battery life on a new item as usually at first the life is good then declines over time, but so far I have found that it charged quickly and lasts enough time to do stairs, and around the skirting board areas for four rooms without needing a recharge.

Jewlia Ruiz: So I had actually bought this with the intention of cleaning my bed. I have sensory issues and even a small grain of dirt can disturb me from my sleep. So every day the bed has to be cleaned and redone for me to sleep.

I had no vacuum and I was tired of having to find creative ways to dust the bed. I ordered this one for its simplicity, price, and compactness. Honestly, I was a tad worried about whether it could do its job. It does! The suction worked well I noticed though on sheets it suctions the sheet and moves it around so you have to hold the sheet down from it being lifted. On occasion, you have to go over the same spot because sometimes the dirt won't be lifted. However, if you keep the vacuum clean it does a very very good job. I took a look at the filter and I was surprised at how much dirt it picked up that I didn't even know was there. Overall, I think the purchase was 100% worth it.

Cally Place: My hoover stopped working on the second try despite being fully charged. I contacted customer services and received a reply straight away from Joie who told me what to do to get it working again, and to my surprise it worked! Really happy with the help I received and give 5 stars for customer service but 4 stars for the vacuum itself as it's not as powerful as I'd have hoped!

Queen Bee: Knocks my old Dyson vacuum out of the park. I purchased the first one back in May of 2022. Used it for a couple of times and loved it so much, I ordered another one for my other home. Therefore this review is after using both for over a year and still in love. I use this little beast every day. It does a wonderful job picking everything up off the floors or carpet. I can use it at least two week without recharging, which only takes 2 hours. I have long hair and this little beast does an amazing job sucking up my hair on the bathroom floors! In addition it does just as well on the interior of the car! The small brush that comes with it is the secret to keeping the filter clean easily and I love that it includes a light! highly recommend this to anyone who is not a neat freak but likes to keep ahead of needing a big cleaning. But foremost VacLife customer service is amazing. As mentioned above I have had my vacuum for over a year and wanted to order additional parts. Contacted the seller and they did not have the parts in stock, at the time. But I got an email 3 days later stating they had ordered them and I would get them in a couple of days. And sure enough I did!!!
