A. Servas: I own a Black Lab and originally purchased this vacuum to clean up the chihuahua's worth of hair she sheds on the daily. It worked so well that I purchased another for my home, and two more for Christmas gifts for my siblings.

The suction power on this thing is impressive. Most vacuums start out with great suction, but that suction will diminish little by little. This handheld has a mesh cover that pops off of the filter. I have a small stiff bristled cleaning brush that I use to clean the dust and dirt out of the filter grooves when I empty the canister. Clean filter=continued great suction.

It comes with a few different attachments, and you can swap them out with ease. I like dog hair free couch cushions. I do not enjoy dragging out my Bissell upright to clean said couch cushions. The job takes me 5 minutes with this handheld. Ever notice the line of dirt that's left after sweeping your pile into a dustpan? I threw my dustpan away the day after I bought this. The brush attachment is great for keeping floor molding dust and dog hair free.

xavier: I paid 68.99$ for this, and they’ve now lowered the price! That bums me out a bit but it’s great new for you because this is an awesome vacuum and totally worth the price. At first i was disappointed with the battery life but after i ran through the full battery like 3-4 times the battery life was much much better. Now i can do my whole stairs and furniture and vacuum cat tree and dog bed on one charge. Fair warning it takes a very long time to charge from empty to full. Like 6 hrs. But its easy to empty, not too loud and has great suction. The motorized attachment is not a gimmick, it works better than i expected it to.

jane doe: Two cat cat-lady here. I searched for the strongest motor and this came up. Just got it and it gets the hair and the litter! Bissell keeps developing its vacuums and this handheld is the best product I've gotten from them and best handheld period. Also they donate to pet charities and seem legit about it. The only thing I'd add is to put a light to see dirt better. Bissell's customer service and website is great for the accessories that cheap knockoffs on amazon won't have.

T: Just got mine all good until I came to plug it in its a 2 pin plug only suitable for overseas and not the UK so now I have to spend more money on another plug perhaps if you are selling to the UK you should put this in your description a bit peeved to say the least

Dipti Rao: The suction power, brush attachments, and cordless form all work really well for cleaning pet fur off furniture and carpets. After 6 months of use I can confirm that it last about 15-20 mins on a single charge while the charging itself takes a 2-3 hours. For a short while it was giving a mild shock near the power button during use, but that seems to have resolved itself and is also easily avoided by changing the grip. It’s moderately noisy, and after consistent use, not so loud that it scares the cats away. The one peeve is that eventually the filter will need to be bought separately and completely replaced as a unit. I bought this vacuum to enable me to clean more often without having to deal with cumbersome equipment and wires and this product has helped me achieve that goal beautifully. I’d recommend this product for this price range.

Rowe: It was time...time to replace that dead, old B&D bustduster that has sat fallow for years in our utility closet. I remember when it was new. The excitement of cleaning hair and dirt filled the air as it happily went along and clea.....oh but the battery died. I hated that thing, mainly because it lasted maybe 1-2 minutes at best. Brand new! It always did that and the NmHD battery was small and lost its charge capability over time until the day it died and never came back.

So with that in mind, great hesitation was upon me: I wanted to get a new hand vacuum because my wife has grown old (not me though) and she sheds silver hair which you can see *everywhere*. My god she sheds more than a polar bear in springtime heat. Sit on the couch? Silver hair everywhere. Vacuum the floor with the big vacuum? Fills with hair in about 4 days use. I once emptied the vacuum in the trash only to witness the local crows pick out this giant ball of silver hair and fly off with it, presumably for a nest or for making a human replica...those crows are crafty.

So anyhow. Clearly, it’s time for a handheld vacuum. With so many on the market, which is the best? Or for me: which one will...
