Cooling Rear Seat Air Fan for Sedan, SUV, RV, and Boat

Matthew Paul: This Electric Auto Cooling Fan is great. It plugs into your car auxiliary power outlet and you can control it easily (as long as the cord reaches). We haven't had a big problem with the cord being too short but you have to plug it in to the front because the control box for the fan is near the plug in. This fan has helped us keep our kids cool for 2 summer seasons now. It has a decent amount of power and blows well. This seasons the fan started making a clicking noise (like the fan blades are hitting something) but after some time it goes away. It's not the easiest to install since it clamps on the rear seat headrest but I can't think of any other way to install it.

Kristen Murrell: This fan works amazingly well! I got it mostly for my dog, but a friend sat in the back and said it really helped to cool down quicker. My only issue is that the fan is a bit noisy, but since it works so well, I overlook it.

K DeMille: I purchased this for a car trip with 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 smaller dogs. This helped keep everyone comfortable while traveling through the southern summer heat. Each of the fans move separately. The fan speed is adjusted on a rolling adjuster. Only downsize was a low humming the fans make.

ACGCACGC: If you’ve been shopping for a car fan due to limited air flow for your backseat passengers, this one might be for you. I have a 2014 Cadillac SRX and because of its crossover style, the backseat doesn’t have all the amenities my GMC Acadia does. This is located behind the passengers head rest. Behind that headrest I have a booster seat with a back. It is not too close to the child who sits behind it. They can adjust it and use the fan on the left to cool off the driver’s side passenger.

Only thing that had me a bit worried is the left screw may be stripped? I tightened it really tight and hears a click and it started turning again when it should have stopped. I tightened it to the point just before it clicks over so it is is snug. I at first was also worried about it becoming a projectile in the event of an accident t, but it is quite tight, so I believe it to be a safe fan. Switch for on/off is handy and it conveniently plugs into the cigarette lighter area.

4 stars due to weird screw issue and no instructions. Had to come back to Amazon to watch tutorial. Also if you’re 6’4”, it might be just a bit closer to the person behind you.
