Michael E.: Lift off cooking surface is so much easier to clean. You don’t have to lug the whole tamale into the sink. The cooking surface is truly a non stick surface and looks like brand new with no scraping marks.

Dave: I have mixed feelings about this appliance. 😕 I spent a small fortune putting in an island and cooktop with granite counters and chimney hood and my wife prefers this griddle! I wish I knew she'd never use the cooktop again or pans once I got this. It does create some splatter as expected, and it should be used under a vent hood but it works great. It cleans easy and it wasn't expensive. I had a bad habit of turning it to 500 instead of off, so make sure you don't do that! (I unplug it as well). Other than that, it has never left the counter which is the biggest drawback.

Bonnie: This little griddle was a cheap replacement for my oster diamond griddle that died. Overall, it works pretty well. No odd plastic smell after the second use. I assume that's normal with new products these days since my latest toaster did the same thing. Heats fast and cleans pretty easily. Plug and cord are pretty sturdy and don't seem to get too hot while it's on. The only issue is the hot spots. And once you use it a few times, you'll know where they are and what to watch out for with your grilled cheeses. Overall not terrible for the money but I'd probably spend the extra for another Oster when I buy another one. But if you're on a budget, it's not bad.

ChristineChristine: I purchased this in yellow (it was cheaper and matched my kitchen). I wanted a larger cook top to make lots of food at one time for my family. So far I have used it to make birria, quesadilla, grilled cheese, and pancakes. I have yet to use it to cook raw meats. It has worked fairly well. I did notice that the hottest spots seem to be along the edges, the middle does not heat as well so everything tends to cook unevenly. Luckily the stuff I have been cooking doesn’t require high heat and easily flipped around, so not a huge issue for me. Just be aware when purchasing this item. It can be a pain to clean if grease gets down along the edges. Hand wash in the sink and let it dry at an angle and flip it the other way after some time to get all the water out of the nooks and crannies. Otherwise the cook top itself cleans off nicely. All in all I’m happy with my purchase. I can cook a meal all at one time for my family and that was it’s intended use.

RedCanoe: The heat distribution is only 3 stars, needs improvement, I wouldn't buy the brand again, had a different brand that lasted 12 years and had much better heat distribution.

SE: We would have given this griddle 5 stars if it weren't for the support feet breaking off. We've lost count the number of times we've had to glue the feet back on, only for them to break off. This unit replaced our long running Cuisinart Grill/Griddle (Flat on one side, flip it over for a grill side) and if it weren't for our issue they would be very comparable.

Katherine: I got this a little over a month ago and I use it all the time. It's made my life so easy. I love it. It's so much better than my previous griddle. It is a pain to clean between the gaps but it's not a huge deal if you're careful not to drop any food or batter into it.
