Will: I love all Contigo products, but my only gripe is that the paint on the travel mugs are not durable. That is the only reason for an overall 4. I would rate the stainless-steel colors at a 5.

Jehú: Después de un año de uso debo decir que cuenta con las ventajas excelentes de la marca. La bebida dura más de 5 horas conservando calor (no lo he probado con bebidas frías) y no se derrama nada ni conserva líquido en la boquilla al momento de soltar el botón de apertura como en otros modelos. El inconveniente es que es mucho más delicado que otros modelos de la marca, si bien la pintura parece ser mucho más solida y duradera el punto está en los golpes. Se me cayó en dos ocasiones y recibió, primero, una gran abolladura en la base que hace tambalearlo un poco al estar en superficies planas y, después, ¡una abolladura en la tapa! lo cual arruina por completo su estética porque es muy notorio como la tapa pasó de ser circular a estar muy abollada. Por lo cual lo recomiendo para personas que sean extremadamente cuidadosas ya que las caídas no fueron a más de un metro de distancia del suelo y ¡estando vacíos! Otros modelos me parecen más resistentes.

GABRIELA: Me encanta!! El sistema de bloqueo está super para quienes acostumbramos el café o té en todos lados.... El tiempo de que permanezcan calientes las bebidas, no excede de 2hrs, así que si la intención es para guardar una bebida por varias horas antes de tomarla, este termo no es una buena opción
Muy buen ancho y peso para cargarlo y llevarlo a todos lados

Bailey: There are features of other portable carafes that are nice, such as a contoured shape or a rubberized grip or a comfortable lip to drink from when the lid is not being used, however this is a no-nonsense, leak-proof solution for which I can forgive the other missing nice-to-haves. I am a distracted fool when I'm carrying my drink along with other stuff. I always tip the drink and no other product that I have tried is completely leak proof. Drops of coffee or something always ends up on my papers or in my satchel or on my car seat as I get in. This product is normally closed. You don't have to explicitly seal the opening (even though all those other products don't actually seal). As soon as you stop pressing the open button opposite the drinking spot, the lid seals. This introduces some interesting effects that you probably haven't experienced with the typical slide- or twist-to-close lids. The main one is that a hot liquid will cause steam to build up. This lid is unique in that it will hold that pressure in. Then, when you press the button to open it, a puff of hot steam comes out. So, don't press the button when you have it already up to your mouth to take a sip! Ouch! I mainly...

Sir R: This was one of the latest designs I love this brand but this version is different, after you take a sip there is always some liquid left on the lip, I'm not fussed on this design but it looks more stylish I suppose. Does everything is promises. But For practicality I prefer the West loop version.

amanda collieramanda collier: This is my second Contigo purchase -- the first was a pair of the kiddie-sized 14oz plastic Autoseal water bottles. We loved those, but the button mechanism on the bf's started to get wonky, so I selected this one as an "upgrade" -- it's 2oz larger so still a manageable size, and with a vacuum seal so it keeps water cold. (FYI, these Autoseal style bottles are PERFECT to keep on your bedside table. Easy enough to drink from in the middle of the night, but impossible to spill if you accidentally knock it over. Which sadly I have done so, soooooo many times.)

Picked the "Mussel" color because in the photo it looked like a cool matte charcoal grey, like a powder-coat finish? It's not. It's metallic. Basically a plain brushed steel that's slightly darkened to a "gunmetal" hue. It's fine, I guess, just not what I was hoping for (and it's much more fingerprint-y than a powdercoat matte finish would be).

It def keeps water cold for many hours, and I like how the lid twists off quickly rather than requiring multiple full rotations to unscrew. The lid design is indeed simpler and easier to clean on this model, too.

Captain: I have owned other Contigo products (AUTOSEAL West Loop) and was extremely pleased with their design in performance and appearance, but they were not dishwasher safe. They proved to be the best travel mugs I had ever purchased. However, I grew tired of always hand washing despite the task not really being all that difficult. Sometimes you are just too tired or lazy and question why isn’t that expensive machine doing this task for me?

This model (Luxe AUTOSEAL) claims to be completely dishwasher safe. I purchased it expecting all of my happiness with the previous purchases (AUTOSEAL West Loop), but with the added improvement of being completely dishwasher safe. The disadvantage, however, in my experience with Luxe is that beverages are not nearly as hot after 5 hours compared to West Loop. There is significantly more heat exchange to the stainless steel lid of Luxe which increases the heat loss of the beverage. The heat transfer is very noticeable when the mug is completely full. The transfer of heat is so great that the lid is hot to the touch. It hasn’t been hot enough to burn me, but I do cautiously place my lips against it when taking the early sips. The entirely...
