Sarah Clanton: I was so excited for Santa to leave this under the tree for our lawn equipment obsessed 2 yo. I thought it was a little pricey but we got it anyway because we thought he’d love it. Reviews were iffy but we went against our better judgement. Upon opening the box our first thought it hmmm this stuff is cheap, flimsy, and tiny. Again, for a 2yo so we went with it. We also waited until right before Christmas Eve to open so we didn’t really have the time to return and buy something better. Second thing I notice is the gardening gloves it’s supposed to come with are missing. I let that slide, too, bc I figure the 2yo won’t know the difference. Third thing I notice is the lawn mover is so flimsy and the top of ours appears to be damaged because it’s wobbling about. Alright whatever. Christmas morning rolls around and our son LOVES it. His favorite is the weed eater. I’m like okay now I don’t feel so bad that I spent $100 on this absolute crap bc at least my baby is happy. Welllll Christmas night, after only a couple hours of use, the weed eater dies. We thought maybe it needed fresh batteries (which also would have sucked because who the heck can afford to change batteries...

David & Amber: From experience, I would NOT recommend this set. I have a toddler who loves lawn equipment. So we have had our selections of them. We bought another brand set a year ago and definitely has put a lot of wear and tear, but still a huge hit for him, so we thought trying a new one this year as a Christmas gift. We let him open it early. Don’t get me wrong, VERY neat LOOKING set. Even has an chainsaw , which was one tool extra than the set we bought him last year. Unfortunately not worth the money spent. We opened it and boy was my boy tickled, but within the time I was putting NEW energizer brand batteries in the tools as he was trying out the one I had already put batteries in, he was so upset his chainsaw stopped spinning, the weed eater acted weak, lights were turning off and the spinner was cutting off. I know this is a kids toy and shouldn’t expect a lot, but that was a lot of money for plastic, and to be honest, the last set we got him lasted, so maybe we were hoping this one did the same. We are returning and going to just replace his last set. A recommendation to look into, husqvarna, if your little loves lawn equipment, it’s pricey, but not much different than this set,...

Tara: The item arrived on time and as expected. All looked good and initially we were thrilled, as my 4 year old grandson was waiting with bated breath to see and play with everything. Sadly, however, after batteries were placed in items and others assembled for his arrival tomorrow, the toy lawn mover had a rattle in it and there was no obvious way to get into the mower to see if the problem was "fixable"or not. Called Amazon in hopes of returning just the mower for repair or replacement but was told that was not an option and that the entire package had to be returned. Iwill be refunded but have to start the process all over again. Disappointing for a rather expensive toy set. It would seem that items should be checked prior to mailing to ensure all is in order. If that is done and the problem was a result of shipping, perhaps items need to be better packaged and protected for shipping. In any case, my grandson will get to see it tomorrow; I will explain the situation, which will be difficult and disappointing for a 4 year old even though he is very bright. Luckily, he is not here every day so perhaps we will have a complete and fully operational replacement set on his next visit....

Lisa Rhodes: I got my son this set for his 2nd Birthday. I saw the box and thought that something was missing because it was so small but everything was there. By far, my son favorite is the weed eater. The lights and sounds really grab his attention. My favorite is the leaf blower (yes, I play with his toys). It actually moves tiny, light weight, leaves and pieces of grass. I didn't expect it to actually work so I was pleasantly surprised.
The only problem I experienced was in less than a month after the purchase, the weed eater broke. I figured because my son uses it so much, it was out of batteries already. I changed the batteries and it still didn't work. I happened to get an email from the company the following Tuesday asking for a review. It said that if I had any issues to give them a chance to fix it before I write the review. So I replied to that email, letting them know that it was broken.
They replied within 3 hours, saying they're sorry for the trouble and that they'll ship me a brand new set. I was to take out the working weed eater, put the old, broken weed eater in the box and return it using the label they provide. It took less than a week to get the new set and...
