MelNC: I'm new to golfing and didn't know if I would actually enjoy the game enough to pick up an expensive set of clubs. I have a group of colleagues that ask me to golf all the time. I finally caved and bought a set of clubs to golf with them.
I ended up buying this set of clubs due to the price and the number of clubs it came with. So far, it's been a great beginners set. I've taken the clubs out on a few 3 Par courses already and it has had the clubs I've needed. The group I went with are all avid golfers and were fairly impressed with the clubs for the price.
From my experiences so far:
- I dislike the driver. The driver has a HUGE head and I just can't get the "swing" with this club.
- The irons are 6 - 9. They are good irons.
- There is a pitching wedge and a putter, I have not had issues with them either.
- My favorite club in the bunch is the 3 hybrid. This club is perfect for driving from the tee on the 3 Par courses.
Overall, it's a good set of clubs to start with! I'll probably cycle the clubs out for better ones as I get better and realize what type of club I'm looking for. As of right now, I'm too new to the game to know what kind of club I...
