Brad WalkerBrad Walker: Purchased the 12 Piece Strata Set. Overall this set is pretty good for a beginner. Purchased for my teenager and he likes the clubs much more than his hand me down top flight clubs.
only drawback is the driver. he has been to the range once and played 18 holes - 2nd time to the range the driver head broke.
*HOWEVER* - I called Callaway customer service. They answered right away and when i told the rep what happened - he got a replacement driver setup to ship. A much upgraded driver the Callaway Maverick.
Have not received it yet but that says alot when a company sends you a replacement that is more than 50% of the value of the entire set.
*Update - Mavrik driver was delivered included driver cover. Great customer service.

CGCG: With the exception of the putter coming with a noticeable dent/chip in it, this set of clubs is a great set for beginning players / someone that only plays a couple times a year (I fall into both categories).
The grips feel great. Much better than some others I’ve used. They aren’t overly heavy. The bag is spacey. The only actual downside and this was more my own doing, I should’ve gotten the 16piece set to get a 4 iron. Other than the dented putter which in all honesty won’t hurt my game anyway, it’s a great set for the price. Would recommend.

Mike Klepp: I recently purchased this set for my brother and had the chance to take it to the driving range before giving it to him. The set is a barebones one, but it exceeded my expectations with its great feel, straight hits, and forgiving nature.
As an avid golfer (read: hacker) myself, I found the clubs to be impressive overall. They performed admirably on the driving range, providing consistently straight shots and a comfortable feel.
While I have used higher-end putters like my own Odyssey and others' Camerons before, I found the included putter in this set to be decent but not exceptional. It's essential to manage expectations when comparing it to more premium options.
This set is an excellent choice for beginners or those looking to upgrade from their first set without breaking the bank.
If you're considering entering the world of golf and want a quality start, this set is a fantastic option. While I had access to a local shop with a wide selection of used clubs at reasonable prices, I believe this set would have been a strong contender if that weren't the case.
