MBen: My basement has mdf subfloor and I had to secure the panels. I bought the 4" screws since the underlayment had another thick layer. Prior to buying these, I also used a box of Tapcons as well as 2 boxes or a generic brand concrete screws from a local fasteners store.
These screwes while longer were much easier to screw in compared to the Tapcons and I barely had any break.
Very happy and I highly recommend them.

Vinnie: Just finished installing about 50 of these into a poured concrete wall and not a single broken screw. Only two screws "spun out" and didn't grip the concrete, once where I was repeatedly trying to drive it deeper so the head would sink into the wood. The other was a hole where I hit rebar and had some trouble drilling the hole, probably not the fault of the screw.
If you are using these flat heads to avoid the screw head from protruding from the wood, you will definitely want to use a countersink bit in the wood you are attaching to the concrete. I went with a slightly oversized half inch bit and it worked perfectly for me. Without it, the head will protrude and trying to force it deeper will cause the screw to spin out as I mentioned above.
I didn't try the drill bit that came with the set, instead using a Milwaukee MX4 bit with one bit surviving the entire project.

Eduardo: Funcionan muy bien, pero tener en cuenta que no son perforantes, se tiene que hacer la guía prácticamente para todo el largo del tornillo.
Se me han quebrado dos con el torque del atornillador y otros dos se doblaron al topar en block.

Aleksandra: Great screws for the value! Much better and sturdier than the ones purchased at a known hardware store. Purchased multiple packs of these Confast for personal, residential projects. 10/10 recommend

H. Sharrott: These screws work fine on real rock but are useless on engineered stone used on most homes nowadays. I fastened screws tight on my flag mount then a few days later the mount and flag are lying on ground. Screws vibrated/pulled out with a powdery residue left in holes and on ground from the fake stone. If you use these on engineered stone then use anchors. So far so good.

Bugbeeuddon: I was tired of paying a lot of money for 6-10 of these every time I needed them. Thought I'd give these a try and they work wonderfully. I had none break and they were perfect for my use.
