Eddie Wilson: I quite like Condor kit.
They've had a few ups and downs, but for the most part their stuff works well, is well designed, is well built and fills the intended role very well.

Keeping in mind this is one of the cheaper "EMT" pouches on the market, and that it aims to fill a role without any of the gimmicky frills that certain other designs have... I think Condor have really delivered on this.

I'm surprised to see some reviewers claim it's too small to get more than a couple items of kit in, while others complain that it's too big to carry... From my perspective, it fits very well on a small rucksack/slingpack or on the side of a chest rig/plate vest. It's perhaps a little large for just plain belt kit, unless you're still using PLCE/ALICE webbing, but can still work if needs be - It's about the size of an old '58 Pattern waterbottle pouch.
The D-rings and PALS mean you could also hook on a shoulder strap or similar and have several other carry options.

As for capacity - I have a large Israeli bandage, an even larger Blast Bandage, a large SJA ambulance dressing, CAT tourniquet, SWAT tourniquet, Fox chest seal, large Burnshield dressing, large WoundClot,...

WhiteFlour1989: I just received this tip away pouch today.

To be fine with I want to say this it holds very securely to the Condor Medium Assault Pack that I put it on. Just building a new bag right now and was sort of thinking it was a bit bigger in my mind by the dimensions. Nevertheless, besides the IBD’s and minor surgical tools kit to put my tools into, everything fit nicely and still have room for the few things I’m adding. With the smaller size than expected it leaves room for me to attach an external tourniquet pouch to make a bit more room inside.

The construction is solid. Gotta play around slightly to get it packed nice and even. (tourniquet is huge part of this problem but will be resolved with an external pouch) but once you do it sits great on your pack. The Velcro is solid. One thing is I wish the strap/handle on the top wasn’t in such a big loop because I could see it possibly catching and tearing off if you’re carrying your pack in the bush hunting or anything, but will update after finding out first hand. Will say that this Velcro is solid enough that unless tearing through the bush on foot that if it did snag, you would know.

Overall I would say...

Mark S. PrestashMark S. Prestash: My original intention for this leg drop was to put my IFAK on it so that my medical supplies would be crazy easy to access in a pinch. A buddy of mine pointed me to an article on Western Rifle Shooters about the pro's & con's of a drop leg platform. The con's pointed out that if you're crawling in muck or are wading in water up to your waist, every inch I'd crawl would be getting gunk into my IFAK, and when talking about what water would do to my IFAK, well, you can see why I nixed the drop leg/IFAK plan.
My new plan became to add a knife to the drop leg, and it worked out really well. The leg drop will attach to any belt/battle belt/tactical vest that is 3 &1/4 " or less. The Condor system (pictured below) for attaching the drop leg is simple but effective. You put the belt you want to attach the drop leg to under a one sided velcro tongue. You flip another larger tongue over the first one, then the final velcro tongue flips around the back and attaches to the 2nd velcro tongue. It's a firm fit it is. Off of this is a large, quick release buckle that connects the belt attachment to the actual drop leg platform.
From here you buckle the drop leg platform to the belt...

C. Siano: I don't make much use of the rip-away feature, and the extra fabric and velcro is wasted in my application, but it is a very small downside for an otherwise incredible kit.

Outside, I keep a Rite-In-Rain pen and a large pair of EMS sheers on the front molle grid. The strap passes through the large handle of the sheers to keep it in place. On the bottom, also kept in place with the strap, is a folded 36" SAM splint.

Open the pack up and you get 3 storage areas.

Against the 'back' of the bag is a strap closed rear pouch which I have an instant ice pack in, In front of that is a set of pockets where I keep a Quick Clot sponge, my EMS notebook, and a half dozen 4x4 gauze pads. Under the multi loop strap in front is a zip-lock with exam gloves (PIA to pack, but quick to access), two instant heat pads, a Nasopharyngeal Airway with lube in a ziplock, and a quick access beltstrap cutter tool. Tucked along the top of the bag is a small roll of kling gauze. Tied to loops on either corner is a roll of 1/2" cloth tape and a 2" roll of duct tape.

The purpose of this compartment is that most of the stuff I'd need fast is here..

The compartment that sits...
