Chris: We have a rescue puppy and have been working on house training from day one, got Ozzy at 8 weeks and he is now 14 weeks. He did really well progressing from puppy pads, which he got from day one, to going to the door to go outside. He rarely has an accident, except when we aren’t paying attention. We have an island between the door and the rest of the house. He would do his part and would have an accident because we failed to do ours. Here we introduce the bell, and viola! We literally showed him how to use it a couple of times and he picked it up almost immediately. I’m not saying he is a genius, but he totally has this working for him. He hasn’t had an accident since we installed the bell. Yay!

I had an electric paw doorbell and it's just hard for 8week puppy to understand .
This is easy, no battery no fuss. It's easy . That's what works. Sometimes tech is not the best.
I used 3m command strip to mount to door rather than provided screws. That way I can adjust height when the dog grows ..
