marie james: The mechanism on this brolly is very strong. I haven’t stepped out w it yet-I assume there’ll be no water proof issues 😏-but I am feeling confident w the engineering. Worth the money-don’t buy those $5 brollys on the street ! Pretty too.

Amazon Customer: I have left it a while so I have been able to use the umbrella a few times and give a thorough review.
Firstly, a positive is that it is not flimsy.
That is really the only plus. When it is windy it doesn't collapse, but the umbrella is pushed down shortening the pole, you have to hold the top up so it doesn't slide down.
The automatic button doesn't work as it should, you have to give it a helping hand by wriggling/slightly shaking the umbrella for it to pop up.
The little circle of plastic that covers the middle of the umbrella came off on the first use of the umbrella.
It is quite heavy.
For the price, I would not have expected these issues. I bought another umbrella from amazon for my daughter at the same time, which was half the price of this one and it is much better value for money.

Verin: Terrific umbrella. Does the job and looks nice too (I got the black with red underneath—is a very dark maroon, classy, not something garish).

I will note that the umbrella is on the heavy side. Not sure I’d say that’s a downside, because it feels pleasantly sturdy, but more of an FYI. This weighs more that a simple small umbrella would.

Love the snap open/close feature.

Amazon Customer: Have bought this as a present so it hasn’t been tested in either the rain or wind yet. It is however a smashing umbrella- good size, great colour, well made and looks like it’s gonna do it’s job well. Have given 4 stars opposed to 5 because it’s a little heavier and longer ( when down) than I was originally looking for.
Still think I’m gonna order myself one though- that good.

Amazon Customer: This is not a mini umbrella, but the right size for travel. Very well constructed with strong ribs and excellent material for rain and sun. Lightweight. It just went to South Korea with me and back. Fit very well in my carry on luggage. I would purchase another one. My color was charcoal gray with a light colored pinstripe. Fashionable, even for a guy.

Stacey Corry: Bought this umbrella because I live in the Uk and it rains often. Very pleased with it but there is a small problem, the cover that is supposed to keep the umbrella in is tiny and I don’t really want to be fumbling around with it as I have a soaking umbrella in my hands! The umbrella works very well and I haven’t had any issues with it whatsoever, it is really easy to put up as you just press a button and really easy to pack away. Definitely recommend.

RT: This umbrella even beats my very expense BLUNT umbrella. Its handles well on windy days, very sturdy, easy to hold, raise and lower. It never leaks, even if it is pouring rain. The only downside, it only adequately covers one person, due to it's small size.

Kitszanaweh Ibsen: It’s it beautiful, but the double canopy is literally double layer of canopy, same length, not the “cut” around the middle and over lapping type.
Wind resistant? On the sense it doesn’t break, yes. But it turns backwards, so won’t offer you much protection.
It is indeed super light and easy to open and close with the button.
