albertagirl: I bought this (on my doctor’s recommendation to start cycling) because my knees are very prone to injury.
I am very impressed with the bike; it seems a good, solid unit, doesn’t take up much floor space, and it’s pretty attractive I think.
But … past knee injuries have left me with *very* limited flexibility in one knee, and due to the height of the seat, and of the cross piece, I just don’t feel safe getting onto and off if it.
I replaced it with a conventional spin bike; and gave this unit to my daughter (5’10” - a couple of inches taller than I am, and her knees still work,) who absolutely loves it!
Long story short: this is a great bike if you’re tall and in average-to-good physical condition already. For rehab for an injured knee, I’d have to recommend another configuration.

Bar: Which were; a foldable, sub-£200 bike which could accommodate person cusping on 100kg for 'intermediate level' bad-weather cardio.

Package weight at 20kg, which was doable alone (but I do lift too), assembly done in half-hour. Observations on build quality? Core frame appears decent, but some clear cheeseparing on secondary areas (most obviously in the casing for the display). Unfolded, a bit wobbly on flat vinyl tile floor (yes, did make sure bolts tight etc), but stable if you're sitting on it - don't feel the need to rush out and buy a mat for it. Seat settings okay if you're in the average range, though can't adjust handlebars (padding of seems decent enough in quality).

It's low-tech; with the exception of the palm-pulse reader has all the stuff you'd have seen in a bike twenty-five years back. Not that this is inherently 'bad'; not everything needs to be smart to do the job - and less things to 'break'. Speaking of which, if the display dies it's still usable as a bike as the resistance settings are manual.

On the job; well, usage is real quiet - my refrigerator's hum is louder. Seat is decent enough; I wouldn't want to spend an hour on it but 20 mins...

yula: I've had this bike for 9 months now and it still works as expected so I'm still satisfied with my purchase. Would I have been happier with a proper spin bike? Probably. BUT, I bought this bike because I knew I wouldn't have any room in my tiny space to keep a full-sized spin bike. So every time I wish I could stand up and peddle but can't, I remind myself why I have THIS bike. The fact that it can fold up is the prime selling point.

It definitely doesn't have the same resistance as a spin bike or probably even a regular stationary bike but I think it's still pretty decent at its highest levels (7 or 8) to give you a workout. I sweat when I'm on this thing. I use it anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour a few times a week to add some variety to my home workouts.

The magnetic resistance is great because it's virtually silent. Occasionally, I've experienced the clicking noise that some other reviews have mentioned but it seems to be sporadic and doesn't happen all the time or only when I've been cycling fast and for a long time. I usually have ear buds in though so maybe it happens more often but I don't hear it over the music so it hasn't bothered me and hasn't caused...

tooth fairy: This isn’t the fanciest exercise bike, and it doesn’t have a phone/tablet holder. However, it does seem sturdy. It doesn’t wobble or make noise when pedaling. It’s easy to fold up and wheel out of the way. It was simple to assemble in about 20-30 minutes, and wasn’t missing any parts. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a basic, inexpensive exercise bike.

Rob in Boston: THE BEST! Once assembled (tip: the rear bottom crossbar has dimples where the upward screw fat end should start from the bottom. The dimpled side goes on the bottom, not the top when you assemble.) I LOVE THIS STATIONARY BIKE! I had ordered an additional seat cover and haven't even tried the seat cover because it's not needed. I use this in my bathroom for a one-hour workout and don't need to wear any clothing. The seat it comes with quite comfortable. True to other comments, this bike is whisper quiet. The speed adjustments are subtle, but truly functional in the actual feel and resistance. The readout is logical. The pedal and seat height adjustments are expertly designed. I've paid thousands in gym memberships over decades and this stationary bike is better than those in the best spas. Good grief, this is such a good investment. You work up a good sweat in 30 minutes. I stick at it longer because it's comfortable and I get a good pulmonary workout too. This is easy to assemble. It takes a little time. The directions are very good. It fits in my bathroom against the wall underneath the towel rack. I don't have to fold it up between uses. I'm not paid to say this. I'm simply very...

Chase: Edit 5/27/23: I've had it for about a month now, I ride roughly 30 mins/7ish miles 3-4 days a week. Still whisper quiet, motion has either gotten better or I've gotten used to it, a good beginner bike cuz as the giant wall of words below says, the resistance here is not going to be for intermediate/advanced bikers. One thing to note if you aren't thinking about it, although this folds and can be stored, there are no wheels, so, you're either going to have to pick it up or drag it.

Original day 1 review starts here:

TL;DR: Good bike for the price, can't speak on durability, whisper quiet, meh seat, I'd recommend it based on ease of assembly/first ride on the bike.

I know what you're thinking, "Day one? I'm here to see if it'll last", and I totally get that, I'm just not able to give you that kind of a review yet. I will however update when I've had it for longer and have logged some more time with it, promise. Even if the $135 I spent on it wouldn't hurt my feelings too much if it broke within a year, I'd still be annoyed enough that it broke within a year that I'd have to tell someone other than my wife.

So, day one reactions to this machine. The box is...

Robert Moore: I have been toying around with the idea of getting some kind of exercise machine for a while now and finally pulled the trigger on this bike. I have a very small living space so it had to be something that didn't take up too much of it. I put it together tonight and just finished my first workout and I am quite impressed. Assembly was pretty quick and easy and I was able to do it by myself. One thing I was worried about with this bike is that I'm 6'1" and 245lbs so I'm right on the high end of this bike's capacity. As far as height at the max seat level it was perfect and felt great to peddle. As for weight hopefully it holds up but after my first hour long workout it felt really stable and sturdy under my weight. Hopefully I'll get lighter and lighter pretty soon haha. The resistance feels fine and I started at level 3 since I'm very out of shape and I had a good sweat going on. This bike should scale well with an increase in fitness level. I tried level 8 just to see how it was and although it wasn 't too hard to peddle I felt gassed out after only 15 or 20 seconds so I feel like the resistance levels are good for me. The console works well enough. I didn't use it during my...

Amazon Customer: Wonderful bike for the price I paid (around $130 at the time). Just because these folding bikes look like folding ironing boards doesn't mean they aren't mechanically sound for what they do--it's a great design that I wish I had decades ago--lightweight and takes up little space. My bike snob friends scoff at me, but I don't care! Chances are their heavy, over-priced stationary bikes are sitting in their basement unused, when this folding bike can be moved around (in front of the TV or in the kitchen) whenever I want. It's no good to have an exercise bike if you never use it!

However, I've only had it a short while and can't vouch for how long the parts will last--that is still to be determined. It seems well built, but not heavy-duty like a bike at the gym, so I wouldn't stand on the pedals, which would probably put too much force on the mechanism and might upset the center of gravity. The seat post flexes slightly in use at my weight (165 lbs), but seems sound. It is extremely quiet and doesn't even vibrate the floor when using it.

There is no pulse monitor nor recumbent seat, but I have good balance and can kind of sit upright to relax the neck if I don't want to...
