Bay Area Joe-BBay Area Joe-B: Attractive freezer in a nice size that supplements the freezer in my refrigerator. Because of the red color I'm able to stick it in the corner of the dining room by the kitchen and have it look pretty good. On the inside the coils actually run under the shelves and not in the back so that's a little different but at least it flush in the back. Overall I like this unit it's worked well.

Shopper23: What a manual! Elaborate information about all kinds of things but missing things you need to know. LIKE for example, the temperature control is on the back of the unit and it takes 3 separate, hours-duration steps to set it up to operate. I still haven't been able to get through to the last step to lift it back out and reset the temperature controls again.

The unit looks fine and could operate without the handle that you have to attach. But the instructions are very specific about defrosting and it mentions how you have to put a pan to drain at the front but what size pan, exactly where does it go, where is there anyplace that anything can drain from?

While the unit looks sturdy and reliable, the number of TLC notes in the instruction booklet cause me to wonder if it will ultimately be fragile and a defrosting difficult. I guess I'll eventually learn the answers.

But DON'T expect to just plug it in and use it!! It will probably take a couple of days and at least 3 steps before you can put anything into it.

Brenda: Let me start off by saying that I ordered the freezer for a family member that’s out of state. I had to change the address to where the freezer was going. I contact Customer Service & I must say it was the most pleasant experience I have had. Mia took my situation & helped me thru the entire process immensely without any problems. The freezer arrived to my family member in a matter of 2 days, undamaged & in perfect condition. I am very pleased with Mia’s assistance as she was professional & the freezer itself is perfect & fits our needs. Xanadu: I actually have a three and a half cubic feet mini freezer to go along with my refrigerator freezer. However, I've kind of grown out of it a little bit and I needed a little extra room. So I decide to get this small one. I'm already experiencing a lot of disappointments, and I have only had this freezer a little over 24 hours.

First of all...it's way smaller than I thought it would be. I thought both the top and bottom level would be equal in size. They are not. The bottom is way smaller. You can barely put anything in it.

Second... It is quite clunky and rattly for a small freezer. My larger one (of another name brand), I've had for like 3 years. It is very quiet. You don't hear any squeaking, and quirky noises. You might hear it vaguely click on then click off, and it stays smooth running all day long. And it gets nice and cold.

This one every time it clicks on and off... You hear a big clunk. It doesn't cut off smoothly. You hear clank. Or you hear clunk. And when it's running...it's got this kind of crazy noise. It's hard to describe. It almost sounds like a crackling gurgling sound. Or a squeaking door as it is opening. But that's really not the right...
