Compact and Convenient: Phomemo D30 Portable Label Printer

SD2020: Every business owner should have this. I was using the other printer this company sells - the larger one - for my business tags and I do love it but I needed something for smaller items so that I didn’t have to print such a large tag and this came in REAL handy.

I would highly recommend this to everyone!

Dizordered: Wow! The number of designs that are possible on this is infinite! Easy to use and the app offers so many options. Only problem is that you have to waste a label or 2 when machine hasn’t been used for a while. Don’t know why that happens… but it is what it is.

SunnySunny: I am obsessed with this little thing! Its so cute and compact, and so easy to use. I got excited and downloaded the app the night before to play around with the interface. It's very user friendly, not an insane amount of customizations but a good amount to play around with.

Once I got the package, I opened it and used it right away! A few user errors on my end, like not putting the roll in correct and figuring out the margins needed to print center - but I barely looked over the user manual so that's my fault!

The quality of the print is incredible. You can clearly make out the images of my cats on the stickers I test printed with (and see my error in margin on the second photo). It turned out so good my fiance asked for some to put on his snowboard! And of course I'll be using them to make actual labels haha.

I do wish there was a computer driver for the printer, but hopefully I should be able to use my iPad as well.

A. Taylor: I am pretty happy with this purchase. It’s lightweight, connects easily, price was good. The labels that it came with were a little small, so I ordered bigger ones and my only complaint with those is it does not print the first label in a printing session. So if I turned it on right now, and printed the label, it would sound like it’s printing, sound like it’s advancing the label, but it doesn’t print it. It might even advance a blank label out. That might be because of the bigger labels, I do plan on buying some of the smaller ones eventually. As of right now I have not. It seems to adjust itself after that first label and then it will print after that. And no problems printing after that first one after turning it on. I have not had to recharge it. The bigger labels I thought would be able to do address labels, and you can’t. I suppose you could do a return address label, but I wouldn’t trust the post office being able to read it if it were the addressee label.

tasha :)tasha :): The media could not be loaded.  This is an amazing, lightweight, label printer it only requires the use of thermal labels, which saves you money because you don’t have to use ink for the printer. I like the fact that you are able to take this with you no matter where you go because of the size of it, it’s small, compact and packs a major punch You were also able to print the only labels four bottles or four file folders but you’re able to make those gift labels, so come Christmas time. This is going to be a major game changer. It does require the use of special labels. However, they are coming in different sizes. It does not require the use of only a certain brand of labels you are able to use just about any brand of labels as long as they are thermal. The creating of the label is on the app that you are able to download onto your phone and with that app it has different templates which you can choose and upload either pictures or names or you can do subjects I like that the process of connecting via Bluetooth is simple. Ash: The labels are pretty easy to make but if you don’t do the label in “bold” it come out looking like the ink is running out

Kim: I bought this to label travel toiletry bottles, it allowed me to do this but my only complaint would be that the script isn't very bold, it appears faded and not what I was hoping to see but overall it did what I wanted it to do.

DD: This product is just great. I have been using it for several weeks now and am constantly in the app thinking up new label ideas.

D30 Printer - The product itself is well made, put simply it just works as intended. The printing is fast even if you print a solid black label and DPI is the highest and same as any of the other competitors available. When printing super small there may be some issues with text and legibility. I prefer to keep things simple with 1 or 2 line of big text. At 3 lines it is 100% readable as well. When you start putting super tiny text on there the letters begin to not print as intended due to problems with DPI if I am not mistaken. Letters may not print as they are supposed look thus making it hard to read. We are talking super small at this point though and it is unreasonable to expect to get micro text out of this thing that most people would need magnification to read anyways. Icons still look pretty good even at fairly small sizes. Just buy this one, it is the best one because it has the best ecosystem, the printer is easily equal or best... don't buy it based on just looks but it looks/is decent, app which is super important is complete meaning...
