MR CAMPERMR CAMPER: I don't understand the negative reviews. They made me a little skeptical, but I went for it and they are awesome! I bought these for my new outside Alfresco BBQ & Teppanyaki cook station that I built in my backyard. Before I could use them my wife volunteered me for my kids swim meet, to be the head cook on the large grill with griddle. Day one, Saturday=1,000 people for breakfast & lunch , day 2, Sunday= 800 people served . I used the main three spatula servers for eggs, breakfast burritos, then at lunch time for hotdogs, street tacos and chicken/cheese quesadilla's. After 2 straight days and 1,800 hungry mouths, not a problem, they made it back home for use on my bbq & grill. My favorite part about this set is the beveled edges, that I sharpened with a good knife sharpener so I can get a really nice edge for cutting through thin meat, eggs, hash browns and vegetables. Also, the set got really hot on the griddle, especially with flame coming up the side, and there was minimal melting of the plastic handles when touching hot surfaces, and the handles stayed cool to the touch.
