In a world of glass kettles with LED lights on them, or opaque kettles with fill lines under the handle, this kettle is a breath of fresh air. It looks great, and it's easy to see the fill line, even while I'm standing at the sink. I don't know why there was a trend of putting the fill lines under the handles, but this kettle bucks it and I'm grateful. It also gets the water to a truly rolling boil before shutting off, rather than shortly before or shortly after it boils.
Definitely pay attention to the max fill line for this reason. I can't imagine buying anything else, even, yes, the super popular CORSOI kettle. Stainless, simple, and not a night light. You'd think that "not a night light" isn't something you'd need to ask for in an electric kettle, but LEDs are cheap now and people like them I guess.
Oh, and the handle is actually comfortable. A should be no brainer other kettles can't match

I have previously used only Hamilton stainless electric kettle but they eventually wore out and stopped working. The newer Hamilton I bought has plastic cutouts to show the water level on both sides. I do not want that as I worry about leakage; it also shut off late and made the handle too hot to touch (returned). So I bought the Amazon Basics one (on sale) that only has plastic cutout on one side. Then I saw this Comfee unit that is completely made of stainless in one piece and no plastic cutout. I immediately bought 2 units. They turned out looking and working great. The heating element is concealed and it shuts off at the correct time with cool to the touch handle. It has built-in coarse strainer instead of the attached fine-mesh strainer that will be dissolved away over time. This Comfee model is just designed perfectly for its job. Will be buying one or two more for backups.

I liked this so much I ordered another for my parents!
I like the sleek stainless steel construction, which is great because the heated plastic like in some other ones has been shown to be bad for you (PFAS), but it also makes it look great and cleans up easily. While it doesn't hold heat too well because it isn't insulated, it does heat up quickly and safely. You can always tell when it's on because that LED is Bright! Cord tucks away nicely under it too. Solid construction so it should last a lifetime. I really like it this kettle.

The first time I cleaned it, I got some soap suds under the plastic, where it goes into the glass carafe, and you cant really get that out without splashing water up into it to get it clean. Not great, its not like you can take the handle off so you can properly clean it. I would call this not annoying to clean. The opening is big enough for my large hand.
The bottom where the heating plate and glass meat, there is a large bead of silicone all the way around. Not sure if there's a pure glass one out there but this isn't it.
Overall 8/10 with my limited kettle experience
