Unfortunately it’s very disappointing! They claim the fire lasts 40-50 minutes. We followed the directions filling it one inch from the top with the Colsen fuel. It burns 30-35 minutes where the flame can be seen. The. It burns down the extra 5-10 minutes and you can’t see the flame at all. You have to wait 1-2 hours for it to completely cool down to refill and use again. I reached out to the company they responded promptly and were very professional- they gave me the advice I was already following and said it should last 50 minutes. If you want this for a 1/2 hour of ambience it’s a great choice, beyond that you will be disappointed!

Alexandra S: We got this as a gift for my FIL and MIL who are the type of people who have everything. Thought this was very unique. They love it, they live in FL and use it under their covered patio. They love it for entertaining purposes, it held up well also.

Monique Willms: I love this fire feature and everyone who comes over is totally enthralled with it. A friend recommended it and I'm so glad. There's no fumes and it burns really clean. 70% won't leave any residue while we noticed 90% left a lot of black soot on the fireplace. I would have it going all the time if I could afford that much rubbing alcohol! It's such a great thing to have if you don't have an actual built in fireplace as it allows you to get a similar feel.

AnonymousAnonymous: Being terrified of fire, I was leary about purchasing anything of this sort to use on my screened in porch. After reading and researching allllll of the reviews Colson kept coming up as an excellent brand choice. It was more expensive, but when it comes to fire, heat damage to furniture etc I'd rather pay a couple of bucks more. It is lovely adding a bit of warmth, super easy to use, no smell or after taste with marshmallows. Couldn't ask for anything more. The pit came with a heat cloth already attached to the bottom, but I added another welders mat just to be sure heat didn't transfer through. I also cut and added the ceramic 'wick' as reviews had suggested to last longer. Can't say that helped. It lasted for about an hour with one full bottle of rubbing alcohol that I picked up at Dollar Tree. It will be fun to use on these cooler fall evenings, and easy to rebox and store during the hot months of summer. Not having to work around it. I will use it a lot more because it IS easy!!!! I'm into making things simple and fun. This checks all the boxes.

stephen: Good product overall although recommended fuel burns quick and also finishing touches could do with more care.

SherriF.: Arrived well packed. Nice looking, modern table-top firepit. The instructions were sparse and weird though, it was just a small promo-type page that didn't really say how to use it (maybe we didn't get the actual instruction page?). I know that sounds dumb because really all that you get in the box is the cement block with a square hole and a wooden plate that sits on top .... but we have never used one of these before, and it doesn't come with any glass or rocks, so we wondered do we just pour the fuel in the hole and light it, or are we supposed to buy and add lava rocks or glass beads before using it??? How do we extinguish this once it's lit? I assume to put it out you just put the wood plate on the top to smother the flame, but wouldn't it get burned? Or maybe we have to call the neighbors over and all stand there and spit on it, who knows. I mean, for something that involves potential fire danger you'd think they'd have to be pretty careful with their instructions. Anyway I picked up some glass beads designed for firetable use from our local hardware store and we will give it a go. I'll update my review if we don't die in a small blaze of glory trying this thing out.

ANDREA PALMA OSUNA: The media could not be loaded. Justo lo que esperábamos!!!
100% recomendable, deberán comprar una almohadilla para el fuego y bioetanol.
Ya llevaba 20 min aprox cuando tomamos el video.

JotaJota: The media could not be loaded. Es una chimenea pesada, se la ve de calidad, firme para que no vuelque, buen tamaño y de un gris muy bonito. La pega que lo pongo es que la nuestra tiene alguna grieta, que espero no nos de ningún disgusto.

Auston: I love this little fireplace. I typically use it in the fall outdoors. I wouldn’t recommend using it indoors. It says no fumes, but that has not been the case for me.
