Kimmy Roll: I guess I didn't notice in the picture when I bought it, but it has no wheels. Had I noticed I would have passed. Makes it so hard for transport and if it is filled it results in you dragging it and scraping up the bottom. On the positive side, it does indeed keep ice even in 100* weather!! In fact after a party the ice held up for about 3 days inside my apartment! Great concept, just needs wheels!

Sgtfluffy: i wish it came in another color other than black but it is what it is. keep it in the shade and its okay. works well at keeping things cold for a long period of time. compared to Yeti's and Tundra's and the other high end coolers this is a better deal.

Carlos A.: El producto es exactamente lo que yo necesitaba, únicamente existe una falla en el portal de compra, ya que da la opción de comprar hasta 18 meses s/intereses pero al llegar mi primer pago apareció el monto completo

Chitoge: Look, I know there's this whole cult of $400 coolers and suburbanite outdoors people who swear by them but I really don't need anything that fancy. I just need a large-ish insulated box that keeps stuff cold for a day or two so when I make a cross-country drive to visit people I can bring food there and back. My budget was around $100 and this came in comfortably around half that on sale.
I'll just go through my main observations for you:
1) Its large, but most surprising is how tall it is. It will not fit standing up in the trunk of my sedan, but only by the smallest bit. It might work out that way for you, but for me it gets strapped in the back seat.
2) The lid is hinged on nothing but thin plastic and wishful thinking. There is no bracing on the lid and if you open it all the way you can immediately tell that it's at risk of breaking if pushed too far.
3) The lid shuts about 60% of the way under normal force. Anyone just letting the lid fall under its own weight will leave it open just a crack, wasting your precious ice. It's not immediately obvious that it's still open, either.
4) The handles are are fine when it's empty and completely inadequate when...

smratliff: When my very old refrigerator died, I decided to use a cooler for several months while I make some changes to my kitchen infrastructure. Doing the work by myself, it's taking a while :) I have a freezer so I can rotate fresh ice packs into the cooler once a day. It has worked great for me and my two kids, through the hottest part of summer in an old farmhouse that stays very warm 24/7 in summer. But for the price it has been great... it's very nearly as convenient as a refrigerator. I camped a lot (months at a time) for many years, including in the desert, and based on this summer I would trust this cooler for that purpose if you can replenish your ice reasonably often. I have not had to use it out in the rain, etc. so perhaps as someone said it could allow water in. It's true when living outdoors you have to be prepared to protect your gear, cover things when a rainstorm is coming in... to me that's just common sense. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the lid tends to not close all the way -- not a big deal, you just have to pay attention and make sure it's really closed, but if you are careless you could probably lose food. I was relieved that there's no plasticky smell.

Pete: I have taken several trips to Arizona from Chicagoland. I had lots of money in meat inside. It didn’t thaw at all.
