Jörg-Uwe Redecker: Alles perfekt, kräftige Feder und Halbstopp machen das 42a Koforme Messer recht sicher. Große Klinge mit einer guten Gebrauchsschärfe. Der Griff auch für große Hände geeignet. Wenn die Klinge jetzt noch matt wäre und sich keine Fingerspuren zu sehen wären hätte es auch den 5. Stern gegeben.

A. Reith: I bought this knife out of curiosity because it was so cheap. It's a lot better than expected and might actually be useful for fishing and camping. It feels somewhat flimsy in the hand, however, the blade is stable in the handle when extended. The metal also looks somewhat cheap, but it's easy to sharpen and might be pretty good for my purposes.

The one thing I really dislike is the locking mechanism which makes it hard to open and dangerous to close. But what do you expect for this price?

Richard H. Pontone: A superior knife for this low price. Did not expect much, but man, this totally surprised me.
Quality is super, construction is superior and the knife is truly strong and sharp. Easy to open up up and retract.
I bought the knife at $12.95, and I got it and immediately bought two more, but the knife's price fell to $6.95 each.
Great to put in my pocket for many purposes including self defense. Say "Hello, to my little friend".
Strange thing, in NYC, Amazon will not ship most pocket and other knives, but this one will.

Anton Segovia: This is amazing for $7.64 plus tax. I kind of want to always have one in my shopping cart, to just stash places in my life, and then once those fill up I will just start giving them away. Cold Steel has some of the best value in the their products, compared to any industry. Super sharp, very light weight, great value. It makes me feel like this is the lowest priced, piece of mind available in the world. I mean, if for some crazy reason, a person eating, large animal, has me cornered, I would pull this out of my pocket, open it and smile right before I run screaming at the beast, slashing wildly or I could open a package. with so little effort it would feel like magic. I would like to have a lanyard hole in the future if possible, that would be great Cold Steel!

James: For the money this is the best value on a folding knife I've seen. Comes shaving sharp out of the box, fit and finish is adequate especially at this price point, even the blade centering is good. Now it doesnt have good steel or a pocket clip or even a lanyard hole but for how cheap it is you cant complain. The spring on the slip joint is very strong and the half way stopping point is definitely necessary. It's cheap, lightweight, comfortable in hand and sharp. For the price you cant go wrong. Youd pay more for a gas station knife that isnt anywhere near as good.
