Elana KleinElana Klein: My husband originally saw this knife in a video on YouTube and he bought it. When it came in, he was very excited to open it and it met and surpassed all of his expectations. The picture posted above is against a standard pair of my kitchen shears and is quite large in person. I’ve always been a knife girl, but to be honest, this one scares me a bit. It pulls out of his pocket and opens as in the videos but not due to poor manufacturing, simply it is just being used as advertised. He absolutely loves it and if you’re guy and you’re interested, it’s probably worth it. The stainless steel does seem to really keep fingerprints and grease so polish it regularly. Hubby does not regret the money spent on this.

Veja, por exemplo, o "jimping", que é aquela parte no topo do cabo ou da lâmina que oferece atrito para o dedo. Muita gente acha o "jimping" desnecessário e até incômodo, mas eu acho um bom recurso, e o fato é que ele está presente na maioria das facas e canivetes. Neste, não.
Outra coisa que chama a atenção é o revestimento em G-10 do cabo, que é muito bonito mas produz pouco atrito na mão. Abrir o canivete não é problema, mas ele já não passa tanta segurança para quem (por gosto ou necessidade) quer fechá-lo usando uma só mão.
Por fim, o alumínio polido do cabo está sujeito a arranhões, e tanto é assim que o canivete vem com dois plásticos cobrindo e protegendo as laterais; e o clipe de bolso não é reversível, o que dificulta seu uso por parte dos canhotos. Todos os fatores mencionados convergem no mesmo ponto: este canivete luxuoso é grande e totalmente funcional, mas foi concebido para ser peça de coleção.
Vale a pena comprar um? Depende. Eu comprei como presente de aniversário para mim mesmo, mas acabei devolvendo. Não é que eu não mereça um presente caro... É que o...
