Jennett C. Pearson: My cat is chronically anemic due to IBD. I had been giving him B12 injections, which he absolutely hates because he also hast to get sub Q fluids frequently. He eats these like a treat and likes them. So I am pleased that I can at least relieve some of the stress of being stuck with a needle so often. I’m very happy with this product.

Nicole Sav: I bought these about 2 weeks ago or so, the first few days I didn’t notice a difference in my pitbull/boxer mix, he is only 2 and has been dealing with random symptoms. Tired, less of an appetite, and his energy level wasn’t “hyper” as he’s always been, then the seizures started. I took him to the vet and they barely looked him over, they were quick to rack my bill up tho. I’m a pet groomer, so I took many classes to further my knowledge of dogs, so I started doing research on “why” of course google will scare you, but I’m a frequent petMD reader, they actually have veterinary articles, so after typing all his symptoms in, there was a list of things his body could be lacking that he isn’t getting from his food, like B12 deficiency and iron deficiency etc… so I started adding beef liver, sardines, flaxseed, kale. Plus every morning I give him this pill. Like I said it took awhile, but I’m sooooo happy to announce he seems soooooo much better! I’m so thankful for this product and the amazing reviews I read that helped me pull the trigger on buying them. So the moral of the story is. PLEASE give these a try and maybe start adding stuff to your dogs kibble....

SavvyCat: The media could not be loaded.  I cannot express how awesome this supplement is. I'll try to keep this short, but forgive me if I don't. Still, it's worth reading.

My cat, Tyson, is an interested, intelligent, ingenious cat. I don't say that because he's my cat, because my other cat, Sagan, is dumb as a box of hair. Tyson has always been intensely curious, playful, calculating. See attached video of him checking out why Sagan couldn't open the cabinet, and fixing the problem.

He started vomiting regularly, and lost a bunch of weight. The vet suggested he was allergic to poultry, and I changed his diet to a basic fish formula. He stopped being the pukemaster, but he stayed very thin and, as a large-framed cat, dropped to 8 pounds. The options were a ultrasound to check for lumps/cancer, blockages, etc., a VERY expensive blood test by a specialist to see if he has pancreatic insufficiency, or exploratory surgery to inspect all of his organs. FYI, this went on over a span for two or so years. I was really worried he was losing whatever battle. I did the ultrasound, but all she said they found was some enlarged lymph nodes, which could mean anything.

The vet...

C2C: My dog had irritable bowel syndrome for several years. About every 4 to 6 weeks she would have this problem; diarrhea and lots of bloody mucus. She showed signs of hunger, but refused to eat due to the pain in her bowels. Not eating seemed to make the episodes last about 5 days, whereas if I gave her pain medication, she would eat, and the episode would last only 1 or 2 days.

About a year ago, my vet told me that her recurrent irritable bowels might be due to a lack of vitamin B12, and there's a test for that. We had it done, and it showed that her B12 level was borderline. The vet recommended that we try the Cobalequin.

It does take a while to fully work. My dog had a very minor episode of irritable bowel about 3 weeks after starting the Cobalequin, and has had no problems at all since then. It was a huge relief to stop worrying about when she would get sick and be in pain again. Wonderful product!

Update: After more than a year of no gastrointestinal problems, my dog had another bout.

I strongly suspect that it was caused by adding fish oil to her diet (for dry itchy skin). She has been on the fish oil for about a month, and I think it may have caused...
