Sally Weise: I've had problems with the clamps bending so that the clamp fails to do what it's supposed to do on other suspenders, the clamp will not clamp and hold to trousers.

These clamps have held up for 7 weeks so far in daily wear, so I'll give them a thumbs up.

Joshua S: I love the design and material used for these suspenders. Elastic in the back half to accommodate for reflective striping in front actually allows the suspenders to ride properly on my back. These receive four stars only because the packaging leaves much to be desired. Once you remove the staples, and plastic ties that hold everything in a compact packaging, there are imperfections and minor holes that can be seen throughout the material. Thankfully these are for work where perfect is not necessary, but still I think they could retool their packaging to fix this.

willy k: OK, first the staples. yep they are heavy duty, like you would find on heavy duty cardboard boxes. I used a standard letter opener / staple fork to remove them, bending the ends up then pulling them through the webbing and packaging,no big deal. As for the high vis suspenders, awesome! I work 12 to14 hours a night in the Marcellus gas field as a truck driver, with no issues with the suspenders. I have to bend, lift, twist and climb, they do not restrict or interfere with my movement. I love that the only elastic is in the lower back. No one in 6 companies has challenged my use of them. ( High vis is a safety requirement) They are safer, in my opinion than any vest, and just as visible. They are heavy duty in all aspects, yet comfortable, even when my belt and pockets are full of tools. The clips are aggressive, but in 3 months of use have not harmed my web belt or jeans. Well worth the price. i'd buy them again, but don't need to!

mers: Wow, a really big Christmas hit! Dad is retired-twice!-and said he'd love to have some suspenders to wear instead of belts. Naturally, he gained weight right after he retired, but has been losing for the last year, and he is in-between sizes (I'm jealous actually, it's so much easier for him to lose than for my mom or me!). So I started looking for suspenders on amazon, because it's my favorite, most reliable online shopping 'store'. I found three sets which I thought might fit the bill. Most sets which weren't obviously shoddy had button fasteners. I don't know much about men's pants, other than jeans or suits (but not tuxedos) or Army Uniform pants (Dad was a Chaplain for 20 yrs-I'm an Army brat). I was fairly sure buttons wouldn't work, especially for his jeans! There was one pair which was 'convertible' between built in button fasteners & removable clamps (alligator clips? don't know what you call them!). I almost got those, but on second thought, figured the clamps might remove themselves from the suspenders before the pants! Not a good result...more like a good nightmare, lol! So I looked at clamp-only styles, and to be honest, many of them looked...
