Stephen: If you’re even remotely a fan of Coheed and Cambria, this story is fantastic. Imagery and story pulled directly from the source of their, in my opinion, best album: Good Apollo, I am Burning Star IV: From Fear through the eyes of madness. It continues the amory wars saga, but from an alternative perspective! The Writing Writer has decided to impact the world he has created! It’s an incredibly fun and dark read; and should be read by Coheed and/or comic fans alike.

Kyler Garcia: For a concept as seemingly ridiculous as a man creating a rock band and dedicating his entire career to writing songs that fall into a grand Star Wars-inspired science fiction universe that he created, and maintain this for almost 20 years, it is surprising how deep some of the themes at play can get.
One of the main conflicts of this story revolves around the main protagonist Claudio Kilgannon as he struggles to cope with the responsibility of the destiny that has been thrust upon him. He has been destined to be the Crowing, the one would bring God's judgement upon all of Heaven's Fence, bringing about the possibility that he would one day have to destroy the entire galaxy and all he has ever known. It is a major theme throughout the story that Claudio is constantly being reminded of his fate and the fact that there is an entire galaxy that is relying on this prophecy which appears to be about him. Through constant references to fate, and showing that things keep aligning as they had been prophesized, the author seems to stack all of the odds against Claudio and his hopes of being able to avoid this destiny.

Stuart R: These are a must for Coheed fans. I loved getting to know the backstory of the songs and try to spot the relationship between them. The story is beautifully illustrated though quite short to read.
