Deb: Okay, I admit it. I'm a knife snob and own some high end and custom made cutlery. However, for day to day use this knife is a great balance of size, weight, blade length and design. The hollow ground blade is made of D2 tool steel, which may not be fancy but is hard wearing and relatively easy to sharpen (just note it is NOT stainless and requires a light oiling occasionally).
I would categorize this particular model as a "gentleman's knife" as it is not a heavy duty blade and yet suited for 90% of daily cutting chores. The thumb stud is a bit of a challenge until you get the hang of it and although many prefer a finger flipper it's not a deal breaker. The deep carry pocket clip a trade off between discreet carry and easy access and can be mounted for left or right carry.
Over-all, you get a lot of knife for the cost of a few burgers and beers.

Keith: The media could not be loaded. Front flipper are quite fun and fidgety once you know how to properly (and safely) operate them. My video shows there opening options for most front flippers.
UPDATE 7/8/2023:
While I haven’t carried this knife daily (I EDC a Gerber Center Drive, and that fills all my needs), I do like to carry this when going out and having something sleek & handsome, while fairly unassuming. The action is superb, and ergonomics are very nice. This is certainly a handsome blade that looks & acts like a knife double the price. Just make sure to keep dry, oiled & clean to avoid rust!
INITIAL IMPRESSIONS 10/16/2021: After seeing all the hype around Civivi, I finally broke down and bought one. I must say, this relatively little guy is quite the knife! Opening action was definitely tight at first, but after multiple openings, and 2 drops of Tuf-Glide Original, it’s now snappy with every actuation!
While the factory edge didn’t feel bitey, it was defiantly shaving sharp. Fit and finish are outstanding; the grinds are even, blade centering is perfect, and every aspect of this knife has been well thought out. Jimping on the...

Ig88: This is a very nice knife. I'm not a knife snob and I like to carry a knife everyday. I don't abuse my knifes but I do want them perform when needed. With this said, you get a lot for the money here. The grips are nice and the blade is great. The issue is with the pocket clip. It's very tight, I work where I wear dress pants and it does create an issue with the clip. Overall, it's nice in jeans but don't expect this not to drag down dress pants.
The opening of this knife is fun and unique. Total fidget fracture and my thumb is sore just by playing with it. Overall, for the price this is really solid.
My go to for small dress carry has been my Kershaw Chive for years and was looking to upgrade. I don't know if this fits the bill and all you knife collectors out there know, most end up in a box. This may be another but for sure, it's a fun unique opening knife that for price, can't complain much. Civivi makes some good stuff!

Miles: Background: Not a huge knife guy, I tend to always have tools around me to it isn't super frequent I need a general purpose pocket knife. Opening boxes? I pick up a utility knife. Whittling/carving? I have carving knives and tools. You get the idea, I just wanted something for myself and I like nice tools. The girl at the gas station said TREAT YO SELF, so I obliged.
Took a second to get used to opening it but once I got the feel for it it was fine.
Action was good out of the box, a drop of lube and it worked great (still gonna take it apart and pretend I know what I'm doing, like always)
I'm a fan of the deep carry pocket clip, the knife is small enough in width and thickness that it just disappears in the pocket. The clip itself seems pretty necessary to help you get a grip in the weird way you have to hold it to flip it anyways.
Haven't had it long enough to really know the edge retention but I mean, its d2 from a reputable brand sooo... Probs gonna be fine. (ill update this if the heat treat is borked, otherwise it's fine)
Blade centering - perfect
No appreciable blade play in any direction when locked up
Lock up is fine
All the finishes on...

Joe: I own 2 Spyderco, 3 Benchmade, and a couple civivi, and I have to say for the money you absolutely can not beat them. D2 is plenty for a daily carry steel and they run on bearings. I bought the cheap front flipper to dip my toes into the front flipper world, and it has quickly become my favorite knife. It's very slim and disappears in the pocket, and it's lightning fast and smooth. I recommend civivi to everyone I know looking for a nice knife without breaking the bank.
