Chris jordan: Impressively sharp out of the box ,very smooth opening and closing, light weight not to big or small. it has quickly became my favorite pocket knife. Need more time with it to rate durability and sharpening ease. Two weeks I'm very happy with it. Opens fine but not much assist.

MD: Bottom line, fantastic knife for this price!
Longer story follows:
So, I heard about this on Drop (used to be Massdrop) but they only had it in the light, cornflower blue color. I really wanted the olive green, with the blued liners, so I started looking elsewhere, and found that it is only a few bucks more on here, plus, as a Prime member, no shipping costs, and it arrived the day after ordering it.
I've got a wide range of knives, having gotten into knives and even some historical swords many years ago. I like the outdoors, so there's a practical side to it, but I also just love the beauty of a well made knife. I've got some really cheap ones that I just liked, and some that have cost up to a few hundred dollars.
Every now and again there is a budget piece that comes along and surprises me, and this is the best surprise I've ever bought. Every online review was raving about how good it is (some great videos on YT, if you want to see the knife, before buying) so I thought I'd try it, and I'm glad I did!
Just under fifty bucks isn't "cheap" to some, I know, and some would not consider that a "budget buy" but considering custom knives can be into...

Noah: As an old knife snob, I just wanted a cheap tear up knife. After a couple months I found myself continuing to carry this over my $500 knives. It takes an edge and holds it well. Keeping this knife sharp enough to shave with (literally) has been very easy. Even being in the dirt and sand, the mechanism hasn't failed, the lock still holds strong and it flicks open with ease. I'll probably buy a couple more just to have on hand or to give as gifts.
3 YEAR UPDATE:
Believe it or not, I still carry this knife. No screws have come loose besides the pocket clip which I've had to tighten ONCE. The cut at the back of the cutting edge leaves a fantastic sharp corner (this will be a mandatory requirement for every knife after this). This is used when I need the precision of a sharp knife tip, but need alot of leverage and control so I don't stab myself.... That's never happened before.... Cough cough
The knife takes an edge well and holds it well. I used mine as a screwdriver one too many times and snapped the tip off. The grain structure was decent enough, but I believe the good steel is only used on the cutting edge. The reason I think this is I reformed the tip of my...

Michelle Dean: This is an elegant knife, the cuts well and holds an impressive edge. I would recommend it for daily carry, but not for heavy tasks. This knife is a precision cutter, not a woods craft knife.
