The pros: it's small, it makes good, hot coffee, and it's inexpensive. The cons: the only main con in my view is that it accommodates standard (smallish) sized mugs, but I tend to like larger mugs. The 2 mugs I keep at my desk are not ridiculously large, but they hang off the edge of the little platform, so the mug sits crooked. This does NOT affect anything though, and it works with no problem. There's no danger of it falling off or anything. But I do wish the mug platform were just a little big wider/deeper. Some other observations: using a mug to pour water in the top is a little messy, but I keep a cloth nearby and just wipe up each time I fill it. It is not particularly quiet, but neither was the much larger Keurig machine that I replaced with this one. It does take a few minutes to warm up, but it's not a problem. I am happy with this purchase and I'd buy it again. If they could increase the size of the mug platform, it'd be perfect.

Artur: After 4th try it started working. I think the air has to come out of the pump before it can work.
Very small. Plastic smell went away after 20 brews. Works with my 600 watt portable power device, just take a bit longer to heat the water.

Tj: I did buy it again, a few times for myself and as a gift. since I was delighted with the first purchase.
But, my first CHULUX gave up after 3 months, used twice a day. Too late to exchange.
My next one did the same. They don't seem to last. At least not for me.

ryan: I bought this small CHulux because I wanted something small for #VanLife living. It is compact and it works great. I use it multiple times a day off my solar power system. It takes 740 watts to make a large coffee.
I bought my Chulux for $45 last year and not sure how the price jumped to $114 !! Don't believe its worth that much...But it does work great. And it's easy to clean out whenever it becomes jammed with coffee grounds.
Great coffee maker for small spaces, like VanLiving...

Snootr: I bought this coffee maker in Dec 2020 and now in Feb 2012 I am looking for a new one. This thing is getting more and more difficult to work. I have to press the power numerous times to get it to work. It keeps turning off on its own. Would not recommend this brand.

Sharker: ###Update#####. This coffee maker is a piece of crap. Do not buy!!!!! I threw it in the trash. It was so frustrating trying to make a coffee each morning. I thought about trying to get a refund, but honestly I couldn’t be bothered. Just don’t make the same mistake I did. Spend a few more dollars and get something better.
This coffee maker is ok. You cannot select a mug size, so you need to be sure about how much water you add, otherwise you get too little coffee or over flow. The start button is very finicky. I think knowing what I know now, I would have spent a bit more and bought an actual Keurig.

CaliforniaGuy: I bought this single cup brewer for several important reasons:
Small size/footprint— takes up very little countertop space
Low power—800W allows me to plug in same 20A kitchen outlet as the 1200W microwave oven, which also shares the same circuit as the rice cooker and refrigerator. Once in a while the branch circuit breaker trips when the rice cooker and microwave oven are both running. But I have not had the problem when the Chilux and microwave are both running. Some more “powerful” coffee makers might brew your cup 30 seconds faster, but then I might have to go outside to reset the circuit breaker more often.
Perfect for Travel—this little thing is light and compact. While it doesn’t have a water storage tank that traps water inside, I still place inside a plastic bag when packing into my bag just in case there’s a few drips.
Low Price—the price for this little thing is fair. I wanted a small unit without any fancy features and it fit my needs perfectly.
Now on to my long term review. Maybe I have had extremely good luck with my unit, but it has worked flawlessly for one year and about 9 months. For the price I could not ask for anything...

Doubting Thomas: I've had my "CHULUX Single Serve Coffee Maker Brewer for K Cups" for a year and a few months. Over that time, I've regularly made about 6 cups of perfect coffee with very few issues. I was a former owner of at least 6 Keurig brand coffee makers that worked, but failed after about 8 months.. YES.. all of them lasted ONLY about 8 months. Tried everything on YouTube to get them to work again... but nothing. So, I got fed up with their POOR quality and decided to try the CHULUX. This little thing is built like a "tank". It just keeps going! Coming from the BIG BULKY Keruig's to this small thing was a bit of a surprise.. but I now love it's smaller size and foot print.
The Keurig tank and water handling system design is flawed. The whole system constantly holds water in the internal tubes. I found this IS a breeding ground for mold (after taking a few of mine apart trying to diagnose issues) that you cannot see (without disassembly) and cannot get rid of. Flushing with vinegar or their brand of cleaner only "kills" the mold. This leaves "dead slime" from the mold that gets hung up in the system. The Keurig water pumps are definitely inferior (longevity wise) to the CHULUX. They...

Eric S.: I saw mixed reviews on this but took a chance since the price was so reasonable. Its much smaller which I liked because I have limited cabinet space. It also takes about half as much electricity & where we live we get lots of hurricanes. After Hurricane Laura we had no power for almost a month & lived on a generator. Coffee was a MUST. Even if we had to turn everything else off to use it lol. It fits kcups & also the refillable ones. The only drawback is like some pointrd out where the water makes a mess pouring it into the water holder. I think its because the top doesnt go all the way back & kinda gets in the way of the cup. I use a measuring cup with the tapered spout & no spills. Or you can just spill a little water & wipe it up. For the price with that being the only negative, this little thing is a score
