Mary: I like all of Jericho's books but this one is my least favorite. The only thing I don't like is that it is a self help style book instead of a linear biography like most of his books.

Amazon Customer: Chris Jericho continues to prove why he’s one of the greatest. Outside of music and the ring, he is a fantastic author. This book was funny and extremely inspirational. Whenever a larger than life figure opens up about their struggles and failures and setbacks it reminds the rest of us that everyone is human. Everyone is capable of redemption. Everyone is capable of success. Wrestling fan or not, give this book a read if you’re looking for a little kick in the a**!

Jay: I expect Chris will crank another dozen books out in the coming years

Joseph: I purchased this book because I wanted a change of pace from the self-growth books I was reading. Although some may categorize this is another self-growth book I viewed as an autobiography- growth book. I love how each chapter is titled after the lesson Chris Jericho learned. The lessons aren't anything new like "Always have a relentless work ethic", or "Never take no for an answer" but the story that Chris Jericho has behind them is nothing short of spectacular. I wish this book had an audiobook because it would have been amazing to hear Chris narrate his own book.

One of the points I wanted Chris to touch on was 1. His time in Mexico and 2. His story/ road to WWE. You will find both of those here and find even more on other wrestlers such as Triple H and even the WWE Chairman himself, Vincent Kennedy Mcmahon.

Overall it is an excellent book that any WWE fan will enjoy just like I did. Go ahead and purchase it you won't be disappointed.

K. G. A. Alavi: A good part motivational part memoirs style of the book. The two strongest things I found of this book were:

Chris using his own life achievements to give his real world examples of many motivational quotes or sayings, we older people, have heard many times over, and youngsters will hear, and showing how he used that to achieve one of his goals. To me it did not seem like he was bragging but felt more like he was saying "I acchived my dreams you can too". This is great especially in a motivational book and him memoir to illustrate the point works perfectly.

The second is Chris has a really talent of mixing pop culture references, and telling stories/memoirs with them. This definitely makes old quotes and sayings seem more cullent and relivent. Sort of how he keeps updating his on screen character to be the same way.

There are many positives I took away from this book. I actually found it eerie while reading this book how many similar situations pop up in my own life. No I do not run into or hang around with Chris' celebrity friends, but things like how to deal with your boss, taking a risk, or even doing something that might pay dividends in the future. Things...

Thunderwolf: This is a Christmas present for my sister. This book came a day early than amazon had predicted. I was happy about this, as I needed this in a hurry. No dints, scuff marks or scratches on the book, and looks nice and shiny when I opened the box.

This book is hardback with an outer sleeve. Feels nice to the touch, as well as the paper inside. Haven't read much so far, but I know from what I've seen, like previous books from C.J., that it's fun to read, with fun and dramatic stories from his past. Very good book, would recommend buying from this company again!

Katey: When I read that it was different to his other books, I was a little concerned - I have read each several times and loved them. I am happy to say that I surprised myself with this one. I actually found the format and concept very refreshing. It was really motivating to read all of his different principles and how he applies them to life, often with successful results.

Each chapter was littered with entertaining tales, and while I'd happily read another book like his previous ones with all his wrestling/band stories told in chronological order, I have to give him kudos for the new approach he took here. In fact, one of the principles mentioned was how he's constantly reinventing himself with the times and I daresay he's done it again with this fourth book.

John Foster Junior: Life lessons, motivating and entertaining read, easily digestible, great references and laugh out loud funny anecdotes, what's not to like?. Also bought this on Amazon because it was cheaper than buying it from a bookstore hence the current dilemma with stores going out of business in these oh so modern times. I've read all of his books, got all of the Fozzy albums and not because I'm a WWE superfan or anything, but because he comes across as relatable and funny in printed form (especially rockers that grew up in the 80's) and after I heard "With the Fire" I've been a Fozzy fan ever since.

Can also relate to his Beatlefandom because I lived in Hana, Maui for 2 years and every so often would go to Nahiku hoping to bump into George Harrison, but alas never did.

Props to Chris and Eddie Trunk for promoting Rock Music in general because just when it felt like I was the last dude standing, still keeping up to date with my favorite bands, still buying albums and still going to live gigs when it seemed like all the other dudes walked away and seemingly grew out of it. Chris and Eddie are still waving the flag of Rock and making us Rockers feel somewhat normal.
