Patrick Mullaley: The best slicker that I’ve used compared with two others that I have. The ground pins of this slicker were gentle on my dog’s skin and coat. The size, shape and weight of the brush was comfortable to hold and went through my dogs coat with ease. The generous amount of pins removed large amounts of hair and undercoat in short order. This brush was worth the price and I am more than satisfied.

Cmojica: Truly THE BEST brush ever! Third brush we have for our doodle & will be our last. It does do your work for you. Glides thru his curly coat with ease & he looks fabulous. No more re-brushing for tangles. Wish I found this sooner!

Sarah McGann: Our Bernedoodle actually loves being groomed with THIS brush and doesn’t run from me! He does NOT like the less expensive retractable slicker brush I initially got. I can perform lots of daily mat prevention in addition to getting the burrs and fir needles to keep him in better shape and my house less outdoorsy. lol
I call this my entry level Chris Christensen brush. Lower price point than some of the available ones, but allows me to be more successful with regular grooming of our sweet guy, and does a beautiful job of it too. Ours doodle is a 55 lb male medium Teddy Bear Bernedoodle with a wavy type coat, for reference.

Jennifer: I love the way that it fluffs up her hair. And that it’s light as a feather. But with me sheepadoodle who has mostly poodle hair, you need a comb as well. Perhaps I got the wrong one for her.

foreverjz: I just used it for the first time. I have two Shelties who lose a lot of coat at this time of year. I had been using a cheap slicker in the past and figured I should invest in a better brush. So far so good; it sure does remove the fur, is easy to use and the dogs are not bothered by it at all.

Juan: I bought the medium one for my 12&18pound cats. Perfectly fit. I can tell they love it. This brush is definitely more comfy for cats than other kind. They can even let me brush their tummy and butt. They are so excited and running to me when I have this brush in my hand. I’m so grateful!
Brushing is going to be a happy daily routine for me and my cats~

Sandra: If you're looking for something gentle on your Dog's skin - it is NOT this brush. This brush is no better than a cheap, harsh brush. It does look like a nice quality wood handle but I wouldn't want anyone to drag those pins across my skin so I can't drag it across my Best Friend's skin. I'm really surprised how many good reviews these brushes get if this is how sharp the pins are. High price doesn't always mean a good product. It was a complete waste of my money.

Purchaser of items: I’ve done my research and these are expensive for a reason. This is a very cushioned dog brush and doesn’t hurt my hairless skin when I brush it against me. Will not hurt my longhaired pooch either. So far I’ve used it on my short soft haired cat (yet to get a longhaired dog) and it picked up quite a bit of hair. This cat she’d like crazy, though.
