Amazon user: Book is very stylish but I found the recipes lacklustre with a long list of ingredients needed. Much prefer Kwoklyn Wans Chinese veg book- less pretence and speedy recipes.

Empe: Alla cucina etnica e leggete l'inglese, su Amazon trovate periodicamente le offerte a prezzo stracciato (un caffe' ...) di volumi in formato kindle come questo, riccamente illustrati e con un mix di dati storico-geografici e culinari. Magari al massimo cucinerete un paio delle ricette illustrate (anche perchè spesso gli ingredienti non sono di facile reperimento e il loro gusto non sempre coincide con il nostro palato). Ma anche solo per sfogliarli su un tablet grande "guardando le figure" valgono in pieno questo modesto prezzo.

RugbyCatRugbyCat: Delicious recipes. Bought for a friend who is lacto- and gluten-intolerant as well as vegetarian/vegan. She loves it! Tells me it is her ‘best present ever’! Only gave it 4 stars because some of the ingredients are slightly obscure & are not available in our local supermarket, would require a more specialist shop

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: First of all, if you dont intend to cook more than one recipe dont buy all the ingredients, cook one meal then complain you have a whole jar of miso paste left over! This book is absolutely superb and i have a lot of them and cook loads of different kinds of cuisines. The ingredients are very easily available in supermarkets or european / south asian food stores. If you cant get a particular one, google a substitute. The pictures are beautiful and recipes easy to follow. Just make sure you prep everything first. Pic is oven baked cauliflower salad. Def in my top 10 books even for meat eaters! Well done Ching!!!

jvicke: I have made 4 or 5 meals from this book and each were really tasty, I have made some again already. Its really easy to substitute any ingredients with a quick google so do not be put off if you don't have tamari or a specific type of vinegar for example. The notes at the back made me confident enough to try making Seitan for the first time too. Ching is a obviously a really accomplished chef who understands what people like to cook at eat at home. Check out some recipes on saturday kitchen, were I first came across her.
