Joe: I thought I would try to use this as a make shift spotting scope. Knew not to expect much and thats what showed up
I have other eyepieces in a box somewhere for terrestrial work and hopefully them and the better tripod will help.
Right out of box might be ok for looking at the moon for a kids first telescope and will teach them patients and soft touch

Jane Tittel: I was hoping it would be a bit bigger, but for a travel telescope its awesome. My 8 year old nephew can use it and loves it. It fits him well and is easy to put together so he can go out in the field and put it together to view the stars.

JC: My TravelScope 60 arrived with a stripped hole on the bracket that holds the finderscope. Celestron sent a replacement bracket but it was the wrong one and doesn't work. I've been trying to get the correct part sent but Celestron Support has now gone silent. I might never be able to use this scope.
If you buy this, I hope you get one that's defect-free because you're unlikely to get any support.

Amazon Customer: El telescopio está bien armado y aunque es de plástico se siente robusto. El tripié es muy malo, no tiene estabilidad y enfocar algo se vuelve muy complicado. Deberían mejor no incluirlo.
