Vicki S.: I love the show and decided to order some of the cookbooks. The recipes are NOT written in United States measurements so you need to have a scale and utilize the tables at the end of the book to convert the measurements. Also some of the recipes contain ingredients that are not readily available in grocery stores here in the Midwest. Most can be found online in my experience. If you like the show, you will like the cookbook.

ex-trucker: A lot of fun just browsing though it. Although I'm not familiar with the metric system easy to look up on the internet and several of the show cookbooks actually include the U.S. measurements. Have tried several of the recipes and so far have found them easy to follow and very tasty. Have to go slow on baking as the calories sure add up. Would make a nice gift for any of your baking friends. Has lots of infor at the beginning of the book of "how to" which are really useful in you're a beginner.

Mary Beth: Love Mary and Paul. The only drawback is that you have to convert from Metric to US. However, it is fun to make these recipes. Love the show.

It corresponds to a Season 6. The baking contestants included are Flora, Dorret, Ian, Alvin, Nadiya, Mat, Paul, Marie, Tamal, Stuart, Sandy, and Ugne. Paul and Mary's recipes are given for the technical challenges, and the bakers' recipes are given for everything else.
The book is broken down into the following chapters: Cakes, Biscuits and Small Bakes, Breads, Desserts and Puddings, Savory Pastry and Bakes, and Sweet Pastry and Patisserie. The book is filled with lovely photos and the binding and paper are quality. The instructions are very detailed making it a piece of cake to replicate the recipes. <I know. Awful baking pun.>
If you’re in the US, the measurements are in grams, so if you've got a kitchen scale that you can select grams on, you'll be good to go. There are some terms that you'll need the American translation for. Muscavado sugar is brown sugar. Caster sugar is superfine granulated sugar. Bicarbonate of soda is baking soda. Strong white flour is bread flour.

Elena P: Adoro la serie Bake Off UK (che purtroppo in Italia viene trasmessa un anno dopo rispetto al Regno Unito) e ovviamente mi piace sperimentare in cucina, soprattutto se si tratta di dolci, quindi consiglio questo volume e anche tutti quelli usciti in corrispondenza delle serie televisive precedenti a chiunque condivida questi miei interessi. PS: Il testo è in inglese, non penso che sia possibile trovare un'edizione in italiano.

AriAri: Où était ce livre toute ma vie!!!! Les photos sont superbes, et les recettes sont bien expliquées et pas si compliquées. Je n’ai pas réussi à lâcher ce livre depuis que je l’ai recu. J’ai tellement hâte d’essayer toutes ces recettes!! Je suis vraiment contente de cette achat.
